Women’s Euro 2025 Bingo Card

As the dust settles on Chelsea winning the Super League in the English domestic season and the mighty Arsenal ladies winning the Champions League, eyes are now firmly set on the women’s Euros. With this tournament overlapping the last couple of weeks of the FIFA Club World Cup in the men’s game there is plenty of football action to see you through the summer.

Be prepared to hear “it’s coming home” for the whole of July even though it has been for the last three years in the women’s game. Oh! And whilst you watch you can play along with our free to play bingo cards.

What is this and how does it work?

The first official women’s Euros tournament was all the way back in 1984. There were unofficial versions of the championship stretching back to 1957, with UEFA only starting to take the women’s game more seriously in 1982.

Originally played with just 4 nations, this competition was expanded to 8 nations in 1997 and it wasn’t until 2017 that the finals of the competition included 16 nations from around Europe.

Euro 2025 is the 14th edition of the tournament, which is now held every 4 years. The 16 qualifying teams are placed into 4 groups of 4, playing in a round-robin format. The top 2 from each group progress to the knock-out quarter finals on 16th – 19th July, then 4 teams take part in the semi-finals on 22nd and 23rd July. The final will be played on 27th July at the St Jakob-Park stadium in Basel.

Where is this? How do I watch?

The women’s Euros are being hosted by Switzerland from the 2nd to the 27th July 2025, with 8 stadiums hosting 31 games. The official mascot for the tournament is a St Bernard puppy called Maddli, who is named after the 1st ever female licenced footballer in Switzerland Madeleine Boll. Like most international football tournaments all games are being broadcasted live around the world.

In the UK, all games will be shown on the BBC and ITV.  In the round robin stages, England will be playing on 5th July vs France, 9th July vs Netherlands and 13th July vs Wales.

Which countries are competing and who’s going to win?

A commendable 51 European nations battled it out in the qualifying rounds with only 16 teams making the finals. Both England and Wales made it through qualifying’ with England currently the European champions.

In 2022 the women’s Euros was hosted by England after being delayed a year by Covid. It was a big spectacle with the Lionesses beating Germany 2-1 at Wembley in front of 87,000 fans alongside millions watching at home. Their triumph was later honoured with the London Overground line that passes through Wembley renamed as the “Lioness Line”.

England come to these finals as World Cup runners up also, and are one of the favourites to lift the trophy again. Beth Mead (who won the golden boot at the last Euros) and Alessia Russo have been in great form for Arsenal this season and if England are to repeat their heroics of 2022 this pair could be England’s key players.

Spain, who won the women’s World Cup in 2023 beating England in the final, are favourites this time around and are the team to beat. Other teams in the mix are of course Germany who have won this tournament a whopping 8 times, dominating women’s football until recent years, and France who go to Switzerland as 3rd favourites and have never won this tournament, something they are looking to put right. Alongside the host nation Switzerland, other teams include the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden and Italy.

So do you think you can predict what is going to happen in some of the games? Well lets see how you fare with the Women’s Euro 2025 Bingo cards. Download a set now and let the games begin!

How To Use The Bingo Card Generator

Women’s Euro 2025 Bingo can be played during one match or while following the Lionesses (or other favourite nation) over the entire tournament, alone or with friends. The card you see on this page is just a sample – here’s how to generate your own unique cards.

  1. Tap to Start
  2. Select your card size – if you don’t want the default 4×4 you can change to 3×3 or 5×5 using the dropdown menu in the Grid Size box.  We suggest using a smaller size for playing during a single match and a larger size for playing over several matches.
  3. Add any extra items you’d like to appear on your cards in the box where it says “Enter words/emojis” (and remove anything you don’t want)
  4. Press “Generate Bingo Cards
  5. You’ll see an example, playable card (touch or click on an item to make the square change colour)
  6. If you want printable cards, choose a number of cards to print (from the drop down or enter a number in the “custom number” box).  Then press “Generate Printable Cards” to produce a set of cards which will all be different from each other.
  7. If you don’t have a printer you can invite your friends by entering their email addresses in the box and pressing Invite – you’ll each receive a link to a different card which can be printed or played online.
  8. We recommend printed cards if you’re going to be playing over several sessions.
  9. Watch the match together – either in the same room or via a watch party – and daub the items off as they happen, online or on printed cards.  The winner is the first to complete a line, or the player who is closest by the end of the match.
  10. If you’re playing over multiple matches you’ll probably want to continue the game and play for full house (marking off everything on your card or being closest to doing so).
  11. Enjoy!

We hope you have as much playing with these bingo cards as we did making them!
