The EFL Cup reaches its climax this Sunday as Newcastle take on Manchester United. Newcastle will be looking to win their first trophy since 1955 while Man Utd will be aiming to consoolidate a successful season with a cup final victory.
Although not as prestigious or storied as the FA Cup, the English Football League Cup is nevertheless an historic competition that’s coveted by clubs in England’s top two tiers of domestic football.
