Independent Bingo Sites

Here we list independent bingo sites, including some which run on their own proprietary software or on bingo platforms you may never have heard of but are very busy and successful with large numbers of players, substantial prizes and/or lots of bingo and slot games to choose from.

Bingo Software Alternatives

Independent Bingo Sites

Everyone who plays online bingo must surely have heard of Virtue Fusion, Dragonfish, Pragmatic Play, Entain and Gamesys – but what about the less widely used bingo products out there?

Currently Available Independent Bingo Products

  • tombola – not only do tombola have their own bingo product available on desktop, Apple and Android apps, they also have their own unique instant win games in the tombola arcade which can be played with the same wallet and login as bingo.
  • MrQ – a standalone site that’s powered by proprietary software, it’s never really attained enough liquidity to be a serious alternative for bingo but has become a go-to site for No Wagering Slots.
  • Happy Tiger – originating in Denmark, it has unique mobile friendly slot games as well as 75 and 90 ball bingo.
  • Relax Gaming – best known as a slot game provider (of the Dream Drop progressive jackpot slots), their rather wonderful bingo software has been around since 2015 and recently had an update. It’s exclusive to Kindred Group so powers just two UK facing bingo sites, but they have a large player base in Scandinavian countries as well as in the UK.  They have 75 ball and 90 ball bingo plus the exclusive Hexabingo game and exclusive minigames.
  • Lookalike Games – players who like the excitement of live bingo may also want to check out some of the live casino game shows.  Mega Ball and Vegas Ball Bonanza, for example, play and feel very much like a bingo game. Games of this type also normally have a higher Return To Player than regular bingo games.

Retired Independent Bingo Products

  • InTouch – all of the Intouch mobile bingo sites closed in September 2023 when the operating licence was surrendered but as the game development studio Slot Factory is now owned by the Skywind Group it’s possible that a modified version of this bingo software might return in the future.
  • B-Live – this unique platform which powered Bingocams and gave players the opportunity to join the bingo rooms via webcam was finally retired in early 2023.
  • Parlay – creators of the first online bingo software all the way back in 1998, they no longer have a UK licence for their bingo products
  • Leapfrog – a desktop only, download only bingo platform that was well and truly past its sell by date when it was withdrawn from the UK in 2021
  • Gaming Realms – neither their “Grizzly” bingo software (2015)  nor their multiplayer Slingo game that was basically 75 ball bingo on steroids (2017) proved popular with players and the Bear Group sites that ran them have all closed

New Bingo Software In Development?

The most recent product to come to the UK bingo market was Pragmatic Play and (as we shall see) it’s gained a huge amount of traction, replacing several older products.  Another slots provider, Yggdrasil, had a bingo product under development but nothing has been heard of this for more than five years and we believe it has been indefinitely shelved.  The End2End bingo product which is live at a number of Latin American sites may possibly make an appearance at UK sites at some point, and there’s also a live bingo product from LiveG24 that could be in the pipeline.

Independently Run Bingo Sites

But what if you’re happy with the bingo software, but unhappy about something else to do with the site?

If the bingo software you’re happy with is Dragonfish, Entain or Gamesys, moving to another bingo site with the same software is not going to help as it will be run by the same operator under the same licence and be very similar.

If you like the Playtech bingo product, you can at least escape to a site with different management and a different licence, but you’ll find much the same minigames and promotions whichever site you play at (and there aren’t that many Playtech bingo sites left now anyway).

Pragmatic Play’s bingo product, on the other hand, has been a complete game changer ever since its launch in 2019. Operators can add Pragmatic Play Bingo to their site in much the same way as they can add Pragmatic Play slot games; the bingo lobby is managed by Pragmatic Play rather than by the operator and the market penetration of the Pragmatic Play bingo product ensures that there’s plenty of liquidity.

What this means is that if you like the Pragmatic Play bingo software but become dissatisified with the site you’re playing at for some reason that’s not to do with the bingo software, you can find a completely different site to play at with the same bingo software but different casino and slot games, a different management and customer services team and on a different UKGC licence.  We list several of these on this page and they are all very popular with our users.
