The most famous steeplechase in the world needs little introduction. Every April, the Randox Grand National stops the country, with runners and riders taking on one of the toughest tests in sport at Aintree. The race itself is run over 4 miles, 2 furlongs and 74 yards, with 30 fences to be jumped across two circuits, and it remains one of the biggest spectacles in the racing calendar.
