The most famous steeplechase in the world needs little introduction. Every April, the Randox Grand National stops the country, with runners and riders taking on one of the toughest tests in sport at Aintree. The race itself is run over 4 miles, 2 furlongs and 74 yards, with 30 fences to be jumped across two circuits, and it remains one of the biggest spectacles in the racing calendar. The 2026 Randox Grand National takes place at 4.00pm on Saturday 11 April, as part of the three-day Aintree Festival running from 9 – 11 April 2026.
Last year’s winner was Nick Rockett, but attention has already turned to the 2026 renewal, with the weights now published and the entries beginning to take shape. At this stage, the field is not final, but the early names in the mix include I Am Maximus, Banbridge, Nick Rockett, Gerri Colombe, Grangeclare West, Grey Dawning, Haiti Couleurs, L’Homme Presse, Spillane’s Tower, Impaire Et Passe and Iroko.
Whether you are following the runners closely, having a flutter, or just watching for the drama of Becher’s Brook and the Canal Turn, our Grand National Bingo cards are a fun way to make the race even more entertaining. Grand National Runners List
The final line-up has not been confirmed yet, so this page should no longer use the 2023 field. The National now moves to a 72-hour declaration stage in 2026, which means the confirmed runners will be known closer to the race. Until then, the best way to frame this section is as an early entries / weights list, rather than a final runners list.
