Fairground Slots is a Jumpman online casino with a fairground theme that was established in 2018. It offers the full range of games from live casino and table games to bingo, and has a distinctive welcome bonus worth up to 1000 times a player’s first deposit.
Fairground Slots is on the Jumpman casino platform but is actually run by the company itself, so offers a little more stability than with the white label sites that Jumpman supports.
The site operates for UK customers through the Jumpman UKGC licence and through an Alderney Gambling Control Commission registration for those playing overseas.
As with other Jumpman sites, the home page shows the logo of GoDaddy, certifying the SSL encryption employed on the site, and there’s a link to jumpmancares.co.uk, a standalone resource to support responsible gambling, which elevates Jumpman above many competitors when it comes to tackling this issue.
The site design is certainly bold! It seems to be loosely based on the Fluffy Favourites Fairground slot, and features a background of a pink sky, colourful tents, floating clouds and a hot air balloon. It isn’t going to win any design awards, but compared with some Jumpman sites, it feels like a lot more effort has been put into matching presentation with site name.
Another fact to note is that this site was the first in the Jumpman portfolio (back in 2021) to replace the standard Mega Wheel promotion with a new bonus game that offers a x1000 slot bonus as maximum prize. That proved extremely successful and has since been extended to other sites.
Unfortunately, aside from the different welcome offer and a little more effort on the design front, you won’t find that much difference between Fairground Slots and most of the other Jumpman sites, with an almost minimalist approach to the UI.
Click on the red Join Now button and you’ll face the familiar three-page sign-up form, along with the option to register with PayPal. As ever, this faster registration process comes with a warning as it doesn’t give you the option to deposit later.
Getting around the various sections is a hassle, as it is with many Jumpman sites. There are just three categories along the top of the home page: All Games, Trophies and Promotions. The second two are self explanatory, and when you click on the first option, you get another short list of categories, dividing the site into slots, table games, live casino, jackpots and bingo.
There are themed categories within the slots section, but these are pretty basic, focused around fishing, Egyptian and cosmic themes. If you want to search by provider, RTP, volatility or maximum win, you will be out of luck, and none of the game tiles provide any of these details.
As with the rest of the Jumpman sites that retain a bingo section, that is now run through the Pragmatic Play network. This brings some obvious advantages, not least the reliability of having a major developer handling your bingo gaming, as well as good liquidity and consistent prizes. The downside is the inevitable loss of individuality and, since there’s no chat feature, the absence of any community feeling.
If you click the bingo option on the home page, you’ll find a standard array of bingo rooms, usually between eight and twelve. All of the main variants are covered here, so you’ll find options for 30, 75, 80 and 90-ball games.
The jackpot sizes are satisfactory, with some five figure jackpots occuring in the Country Road, Heavyweight and Jackpot rooms, and for those looking for 1p and 2p games, there are usually plenty of low stakes opportunities in the Boombox and Zoom Room. Although there are only eight minigames, they include some big name titles, including Sweet Bonanza.
As a bingo platform, however, it is fairly minimal. There don’t appear to be any bonuses or free games available, and the absence of chat is a big negative.
There are over 3,800 games at Fairground Slots, and as you would expect, given the name of the site, the vast majority of these are slots. Most of the big game developers have titles here, so if you’re looking for Starburst, Big Bass Bonanza, Book of Dead and other classics, you won’t be disappointed. There are also some interesting slots from smaller studios,
While the slots selection is solid, the jackpot range is underwhelming. There are around 60 titles in this section, with Fluffy Favourites being by far the biggest name. Jackpot fans used to being able to choose from a wider range or who are looking for Mega Moolah, Mega Fortune, Gates of Olympus or any of the other popular progressives will be disappointed.
The same applies to table game fans. There are 26 roulette titles here, 18 blackjack and a single baccarat option. The live casino section is not much bigger. There are other gaming options including slingo titles, along with crash games, plinko, keno, quiz games and video poker. If you want to find them, however, you have to go through the search bar and hope for the best.
Fairground Slots features many of the standard Jumpman promotions. These include Happy Hours, Daily Spins Reel, Race To Riches, and Fluffy Fridays. To their credit, Jumpman do provide a range of additional regular bonuses for registered players, but the fact that the wagering requirement for most of these is an eye-watering x65 does count against them.
That high playthrough also applies to the welcome offer, which reduces its appeal, and although there’s an eye-catching 1000% maximum deposit match bonus, it is capped at £2000. The trophy gamification feature isn’t bad, and is the one part of the site that feels modern, and although it isn’t particularly sophisticated, it does add a little more entertainment.
Mobile players will have to settle for using a mobile browser as there are no native apps available here, but this isn’t a disadvantage at Jumpman sites as the basic design and lack of frills means that it translates well to the smaller screen. The site appears to run smoothly across both the main operating systems and mobile players have full access to all of the games.
Things are a little less user-friendly when it comes to customer support. For a start, you have to look hard to find it. You can only get in touch with customer services by scrolling down to the foot of the home page and clicking the Help option. This opens up a fairly basic FAQ section, and the Support button, which in turn gives you access to an online messaging service. That’s it, however, and the absence of a clearly linked email or proper live chat facility is a major negative.
Fairground Slots is a limited gaming platform. If you want to play a satisfactory range of slots that covers most of the big names, you’ll probably get a lot out of it. The bingo product also isn’t awful, though it can’t compare to specialist bingo sites. Beyond that, the site has little to recommend it besides the mildly diverting branding and design. It may be a Jumpman operated site, but it really doesn’t stand out from most of their other brands.
