PricedUp is a new UK facing casino and sportsbook with a welcome offer consisting entirely of spins on the super popular slot game, Big Bass Bonanza. They carry a wagering requirement, but it is a very modest 10x.
PricedUp is on the increasingly popular Playbook platform and is operated by Off Course Bookmakers Limited who have offices in Hove and premises in Birmingham – a very British project, then. As you’d expect given the name of the operator, the sportsbook is very big on horse racing (while offering a full range of bets on football and many other sports). If you like, you can set the horse racing page to show UK and Ireland racing only.
The sportsbook features #PricedUpPushes which are enhanced odds on selected bets, some simple and some complex (e.g. on a jockey riding multiple winners in one day). Most but not all of the Pushes are horse racing related. PricedUp also has in play betting and a range of virtual sports you can bet on.
In the casino and live casino at PricedUp, there’s a great range of games from Pragmatic Play and others, with regular weekly promotions.
The PricedUp casino welcome offer is only available via affiliates (that’s us!) and you must follow our link to see it. The offer with its terms and conditions appears in a pop-up (covering the screen on mobile devices and positioned on the right on a larger screen).
The main game supplier at PricedUp is Pragmatic Play but they are actively adding more (in fact they added several while I was writing this review!) so expect to see a greater choice in future.
For now, there’s Pragmatic Play classics including Gates of Olympus, Release The Kraken, Wolf Gold and a slew of Big Bass Games, plus Temple Tumble, Money Train and Money Cart from Relax and a handful of other games from 4ThePlayer and others. As a Pragmatic Play specialist they have a separate lobby area for the Drops & Wins promotion, so you can see all of the games which are currently included (they change from month to month). Pragmatic Play games also feature in the weekly Slots Club promotion.
PricedUp does not have any progressive jackpot slots and it’s unlikely that any will be added in the future as no sites on the Playbook platform have any.
If you’d like a change from slots, there’s some blackjack and roulette games in the Table Games part of the lobby and there’s also a separate Live Casino lobby. There, you can find blackjack, roulette, baccarat and game shows by Pragmatic Play, along with an area for crash games although they currently only have two of these – Spaceman and Big Bass Crash.
If you don’t see anything you like right away, you can use the search box to look for games, but be aware that the search box in the casino only looks in the casino and the search box in the live casino only looks in the live casino. For example, if you search for “space” in the casino, you won’t find Spaceman because it is located in the Crash Games tab in the live casino.
PricedUp does not have a promotions page as such. Instead, relevant promotions appear in a carousel at the top of the page (whether on mobile or on a big screen). You’ll see sports betting promotions in the sportsbook, slots promotions (and splashes for new slot games) in the casino and live casino promotions (and splashes for new live casino games) in the live casino.
Mobile usability is excellent and Android and Apple apps are available.
What’s not so great is the range of payment options, or rather the absence of a range of payment options. If you are unwilling or unable to use a debit card to deposit, PricedUp is not the site for you as it is the only deposit method they accept.
It’s always great to see a new independent casino launch in the UK and although PricedUp has a relatively small range of slot and casino games, it will certainly hit the mark for those looking for a sportsbook and casino combo.
10x spins winnings on slots only
All Playbook sites have the Responsible Gambling information in a pop up which is linked from the site footer and from a banner prominently placed in the lobby. You can find out how to access your account history and and how to use the safer gambling tools (deposit limits, reality check, time out and self exclusion as required by the Gambling Commission) and there’s links to GamCare, Gamstop etc. You can find out more about how self exclusion works in the terms and conditions and there’s information in the FAQ about how rolling net deposit limits work.
