BetAhoy is an independent casino and sportsbook that’s new for 2026 and based in the UK.
BetAhoy is a very British brand that’s based in East Sussex. They operate on their own UKGC licence (issued in 2024) with the sportsbook and casino infrastructure supplied by the well respected EveryMatrix.
They pride themselves on delivering the highest level of personalised customer service. In their own words: “Some of the big boys treat their players like a number and use Artificial Intelligence for their customer service chats, but with BetAhoy you get to speak to real people, who are empathetic, friendly and will treat all our players with respect and appreciation of their business”.
With a great selection of slot and casino games and a fully featured sportsbook, the only thing that’s lacking is bingo.
To open an account at BetAhoy, you first fill in your name, gender, date of birth and mobile phone number; you’ll find that the fields for country of residence and currency are pre-filled and the phone number prefix is pre-set to +44.
On the next screen you fill in your address and postcode, and on the third screen you put in your email address, choose your username and password and opt into whichever marketing materials you wish to receive (sports or casino, by email, SMS or phone call). Tick the box to confirm you’re over 18 and accept the terms and conditions. You’ll be sent an email with a link to click to activate your account.
You can now log into your new account and before you can do anything else, you’ll be prompted to set deposit limits. You also have the opportunity at this stage to set loss limits on casino and sports separately or together.
You will also need to enter the bonus code for the welcome offer if your choice when you deposit.
Lots of care and attention has clearly gone into the Sports and Live Sports parts of the BetAhoy website. A huge range of sports are represented (everything from Hurling to Pesapallo) and the most popular events and sports are pinned to the top of the list. There’s also links to the results page and live calendar.
If you enjoy betting on esports you’ll be particularly happy here, but be aware that there’s no specific lobby area for esports – they appear in the list all mixed in with regular sports.
There’a also a lobby area for virtual sports, where you can bet on virtual football, horses, greyhounds, car races and more.
At first glace you might think that BetAhoy work with just four games providers; Pragmatic Play, Blueprint, NetEnt and Hacksaw all have their own sections in the lobby. Dig a little deeper and you’ll find plenty of others; for example, there’s the Money Train series, TNT Tumble and other games from Relax Gaming. There’s also a search filter in the All Games lobby area for all these providers plus several others including Booming Games, Wazdan and G Game, alongside a search box that show you results once you’ve typed in 3 characters. The search box and filter can be used together; for example, you can put “bass” in the search box and filter on Blueprint to show all of the “Big Catch Bass Fishing” games or filter on Pragmatic Play to show all the “Big Bass Bonanza” games (of which they have more than 30!).
The lobby has no area for jackpot slots but if you do a little digging around you’ll find NetEnt’s Mega Fortune jackpot, and there may be more.
There’s well over a thousand games in all. Most are slot games, but there’s sections in the lobby for Instant Wins (scratchcards are lots of games by Hacksaw including Blocks, Mines and Plinko) and for half a dozen or so Crash Games. The Table Games lobby area has roulette, blackjack and other card games.
The game tiles have a heart icon on so you can add to your favourites, but I couldn’t locate the favourites area in the lobby. There’s no other information on the game tiles so if you want to know about game features or Return To Player you’ll need to load the game up and look in the help files. It’s definitely worth checking the Return To Player as it’s a bit of a mixed bag; when I visited Starburst had RTP set at the bottom end of the range but Temple Tumble had RTP set at the top end of the range.
Head on over to the Live Casino part of the site to discover a great range of live roulette, blackjack, baccarat and game shows by Evolution and Pragmatic Play.
There’s a fair amount of content on the promotions page at BetAhoy, although some of it is reminders of sports features such as Best Odds Guaranteed and livestreaming of horse and greyhound racing rather than actual promotions. On the casino side, there’s the likes of Pragmatic Play Drops & Wins. All players can also claim a free daily scratchcard.
The BetAhoy website has an area for Tournaments but as yet these have not been enabled.
Support is delivered by email and/or live chat. The chat bubble is located on the Contact Us page and can be used even if you’re not logged in, which is useful if you’ve got a problem preventing you from logging in.
BetAhoy has Apple and Android apps which you can download from the App Store and Play Store using the links on site.
The only weak area is payments as the only choices are debit card and bank transfer.
It’s always great to see a new casino launch that’s properly British, and BetAhoy is even better than other casinos of that ilk because of its sheer usability. We expect it to be very popular.
At Best New Bingo Sites all of our reviews are completely honest and written by industry experts. We aim to present all our offers as transparently as possible with a full explanation of the terms and conditions. We receive commission from the sites we feature and this may affect how prominently they appear on our site and their position in our listings.
5x spins winnings, on slots only (progressive jackpots not included)
BetAhoy has an extremely comprehensive Safer Gambling page that is spilt into chunks to make it easier to digest if you’re on a mobile device. Lots of adjacent topics are covered including how to block gambling payments with your bank, limit your exposure on social media and/or block gambling websites. There’s also a full explanation of their safer gambling tools. As well as the usual deposit limits, reality check, timeout and self exclusion they have some extras – loss limits, net deposit limits and product restriction (which lets you opt out of sports betting but not casino, or vice versa).
