Alfobet was originally launched as an Aspire Global casino but had just a few months to establish itself before the axe fell as a result of Aristocrat Interactive (the owners of the Aspire network) making the strategic decision to withdraw the Aspire platform from almost all countries.  All Aspire brands had to close before the deadline of the end of June 2026, but Alfobet didn’t hang around; it was closed before the end of February.

In June 2026, it was relaunched as a Grace Media casino.

One of the Alfobet landing pages promises other products apart from casino and slots in the form of sports betting (which the old Alfobet site had) and bingo (which it didn’t).  The sportsbook is present and correct but as for the bingo, alas, Alfobet just can’t catch a break. Grace Media bingo rooms run on the Pragmatic Play bingo software which is due to be retired later in 2026 meaning that it would be pointless to add bingo, so it hasn’t actually been implemented on the main site.

Getting Started at Alfobet

The player base from the old version of Alfobet didn’t carry over so even if you’ve played there before you should be able to go ahead and claim the welcome offer.

Grace Media have recently made their sign up procedure even easier by putting it all on one screen (it used to be three).  That way, you can have everything to hand, have thought of a secure password and decided which marketing channels you want to opt into before you start filling it in.

Before you make your first deposit, you’ll be prompted to set deposit limits and asked to accept the Customer Deposit Protection Policy.  When you deposit, you’ll need to select and opt into the welcome offer you want.

Sports Betting at Alfobet

The Grace Media sportsbook is a recent innovation.  Grace Media obtained a remote betting licence (for both real and virtual events) in June 2025 and added sports betting to several of their sites soon after that.  It’s the same sports betting product, supplied by Delasport, that you’ll find at sites on the Betable licence.

A wide range of sports is covered (for example, you can bet on Formula 2 as well as on the usual Formula 1) and there’s a separate lobby area for in play betting.  Another lobby area hosts an extremely useful calendar view; you can select the sport you’re interested in (or view all) and for each of the next four days you can see what fixtures there are.  For example, let’s say you are interested in Gaelic Sports – you can see the weekend’s football and hurling matches at the touch of a button.  You can also click on a sport in the main sports list to see everything that’s coming up in the next 24 hours (and later).

If you’re keen on esports, you’ll like it at Alfobet as they have their own lobby area rather than being tucked away in the list of specialist sports as so often happens.  Esports that correspond to traditional sports are also shown under the listings for the sports they correspond to e.g. NBA Ebasketball appears under both basketball and esports.

BUT – and it is quite a big but, Alfobet currently doesn’t offer any bets on horse racing.  This is a bit odd, because the Delaport product at several other sites does include the horses.

Slots & Games at Alfobet

It has to be said that the range of games at the Grace Media version of Alfobet is nowhere near as good as it was at the Aspire version.

• They work with fewer game providers – Games Global and Playtech are notable absences.
• There’s fewer games than you’d expect from many providers e.g. only 15 Blueprint games (almost half of all the games on site are from one provider, Pragmatic Play).
• There’s fewer games overall – only around 1000 (that’s still more than many other online casinos, however)
• There’s no progressive jackpots at all
• The live casino is largely confined to blackjack and roulette, with no game shows at all

However, the Grace Media version has better Return to Player and also beats the earlier version hands down when it comes to finding games to play. As well as having a search box, the new Alfobet site has sorting and filtering on the All Games page.  You can sort the games from newest to oldest and vice versa or (very aptly for a site called Alfobet) into regular or reverse alphabetical order.  The filtering is on game provider/developer and on game theme. The latter includes classifications such as “classic slots/fruit machines” and “instant win & crash games” as well as the more thematically related “ocean & fishing” and “mythology & ancient gods”.  As you can no doubt imagine, this is a huge help when you aren’t sure what to play.

Once you’ve found a game you like the look of, you can tap or click the little heart icon on the game tile to have it added to Favourites.  This appears under Your Games, together with sections for Recently Played and Recently Won.

If you want to find out anything further about the games you’ve found (game features, volatility, return to player) you’ll need to open the game you want to know more about and look in the paytable and help files as none of this is shown on the game tiles.

Other Things To Consider

Grace Media’s history is a bit spotty.  The network has been down for more than a week twice, once because of a botched lobby upgrade and once because of a hack.  They were also fined by the Gambling Commission in 2025 for social responsibility failings, but as fines go it was quite a small one.

Support options are better than at many other online casinos.  It’s easy to find out how to contact them and you can do so by email, text or live chat.  There’s also a FAQ which is pretty comprehensive and actually quite useful.

There’s a decent choice of deposit methods including e-wallets, but not including any prepaid voucher systems.

Alfobet has a promotions page with several sports and casino promotions, refreshed monthly. For July 2026 there was a bet builder sports promotion, a casino deposit offer and a free spins drop.  Grace Media also participate in Pragmatic Play’s Drops & Wins promotion.

Final Thoughts

If you’re looking for a casino and sportsbook combo that’s easy to use on a mobile phone, Alfobet might just hit the mark, especially as it’s got a nice no wagering welcome offer.
