About Rocket Slots

Rocket Slots and Rocket Bingo are two sides of the same coin – both Jumpman Gaming casinos, both space-themed sites and both offering bingo and slot games. Rocket Slots is actually an offshoot which was launched in 2017 after Rocket Bingo became such a hit among players.

Over the years, Rocket Slots has evolved, continually adding new games every month. It’s certainly become a popular choice among slots players and has made quite an impression on me as I perused the offerings at Rocket Slots.

Visually, the site sports a sleek design with a predominantly blue colour scheme. There isn’t much to really drive home the space theme aside from the logo and the background that features a starry sky – but, theming isn’t really all that important for the success of an online casino nowadays, anyways. What matters most to me (and probably lots of other slots players) is that the interface is clean and user-friendly, with a straightforward layout.

Getting Started at Rocket Slots

Signing up at Rocket Slots is as straightforward as you’d expect from a Jumpman site. You enter your name, contact details and address to get started. If all of your information lines up just right then your age and ID verification is processed automatically. However, if there are any discrepancies, you might have to send in scans of utility bills and your driver’s license to show that you are who you say you are.

Bingo at Rocket Slots

For years Rocket Slots had a selection of bingo rooms by Pragmatic Play, but that product was retired and Jumpman had to find an alternative. That alternative is now live courtesy of bingo giant Playtech.  Jumpman have implemented Playtech bingo in much the same way as they did Pragmatic Play bingo, with a curated selection of bingo rooms and without hosted chat (the chat window has been disabled).

The chosen bingo rooms skew towards novelty and slots themed bingo games – Cash Cubes, Spirit Twister, Age of the Gods Bingo, Bouncy Balls Bingo – so if you’re looking for a lots of traditional bingo games and a sense of community, you’re in the wrong place.  If you just want to play a bit of bingo on your phone from time to time, it’s a great selection; as well as the novelty games there’s a good solid 90 ball room specialising in penny bingo plus daily, weekly and monthly big money games.  You can prebuy for most bingo rooms.

Slots at Rocket Slots

There’s a seriously impressive selection of slots that you can play here at Rocket Slots – thousands are available. At the time of writing this review, there were just over 3,700 but that number keeps growing because new games are being thrown into the mix every other day. Just click View More on the New Games slider and you’ll see what I mean. If a new slot has been launched in the past day or so by any Jumpman suppliers, you’ll find it at Rocket Slots.

Speaking of suppliers, there are lots of them here. You’ll find slots from Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Eyecon, Inspired Gaming, ELK Studios, Hacksaw Gaming and Games Global. It’s a really great mix of game studios – you’ve got providers like Pragmatic Play that focus more on creating classic-style games alongside names like ELK Studios that are always looking to reinvent the wheel. It makes for an impressive selection for players who really enjoy trying out different kinds of games.

The layout is just like other Jumpman casinos – categories such as “New,” “Jackpots,” “Megaways,” and “Slingo” make up the main sections. You can search for games by name which is handy if you’re already on the lookout for a specific title, but if you want some more advanced filtering options (based on a theme or feature you’re a fan of) are somewhat limited. So, this means you often have to know what you’re looking for—otherwise, you’ll end up scrolling through game after game.

Rocket Slots also features a dedicated progressive jackpots section. Most of these are from Eyecon with progressive jackpots attached to their flagship titles like Shaman’s Dream and Piggy Payout. It’s not a very extensive collection of jackpots but there’s enough there to pique your interest if you want to try your hand at winning a progressive prize.  Something I think could be improved about this section would be to add jackpot counters to the game thumbnails. Currently, you have to click into each game to see how big the jackpot is and it’s just a little bit annoying.

There aren’t any live casino games here but there are a few arcade style games in one of the lobby sections.

Other Things to Consider

I’d definitely say that promotions are one of Rocket Slots’ strong suits. On top of the welcome bonus (which can be claimed on two deposits not just one), the Promotions page is stacked with offers. It’s a combination of network promotions from game studios like Games Global’s Mystic Masters and Pragmatic Play’s Drops and Wins alongside Jumpman’s own prize giveaways and leaderboard competitions.

Something to be aware of when claiming offers at Rocket Slots, though, is that everything comes with wagering requirements, just as at any other Jumpman casino.

When it comes to banking, Rocket Slots gives you a short but effective list of options including mobile phone billing.

The minimum deposit is £10, which is pretty standard. Withdrawals also start at £10, but there’s a 24-hour pending period (or more, if you haven’t already sent in your ID documents) before processing even begins.

Final Thoughts

With a massive library of over 3,000, a relatively busy bingo lobby and some live dealer games, there’s no shortage of entertainment here at Rocket Slots.

That said, there are some drawbacks including the issue of the processing period, which adds up to 24 hours to withdrawal time frames.

Still, if you’re not overly bothered by these factors, I would recommend Rocket Slots. It’s a great place to play, especially for players who like to try out new games regularly and enjoy a more interactive bonus system.
