BetTarget is new on White Hat for winter 2024 (it was previously an Aspire Global casino).
This sportsbook and casino has been in operation since 2021 and was until recently powered by Aspire Global. Along with other sites owned by Forvana Gaming, Bet Target have now transitioned to a brand new platform and are now part of the White Hat Gaming family. This established hosting platform is well regarded in the gaming industry. It was one of the first operators to obtain a UK license back in 2014. Rather than flooding the market with numerous sites on its platform it does the opposite, taking its time to create top quality casinos. It also hosts well-established brands including Karamba who have been around 20 odd years. So does this site make the grade and hit the Target or does it hit the post and miss the mark? Let’s see.
On first impressions Bet Target looks and feels like a sportsbook, however on closer inspection they offer a more complete gaming experience. They have a massive catalogue of games and claim to have 3500+ (i’m definitely not going to check and count them all) provided by pretty much everyone you can think of including Evolution, Netent, Pragmatic Play and Stormcraft Studios to name a few. The homepage is the sportsbook which is black and green in appearance with the red and white Bet Target logo towards the top left. Also at the top are links to the casino and live casino with promotions, safer gambling and customer support accessible via the 3 white dots.
Opening an account and registering is a quick, simple process taking a few minutes. There are also options to set deposit limits and reality checks before you begin your player experience. You will be prompted with a safer gambling message which you have to click to agree that you have read the message. Additionally you get to choose how you receive messages from Bet Target. You also receive an email with a link to verify your email address. Before I was able to deposit, Bet Target asked me to verify my account. Being required to provide ID is completely normal and it was very easy to upload my ID and proof of address via my account.
The sportsbook is a no frills offering in comparison to the more traditional bookmakers in the UK. With a variety of sports on the left side, in-play betting has its own area at the top under the live icon. The A-Z tile gives you links to football games happening today and up and coming matches. Unfortunately there are no opportunities to bet on either horse racing or greyhound racing and although this is a little disappointing Bet Target do make up for this by focusing their attention on football, with an extensive repertoire of betting markets available within each game. It is also very easy to navigate to what you’re looking for on that particular day with options to look for events 3, 6 or 24 hours away with one click or tap. Other sports markets include Darts, American Football and F1 to highlight a few. I did also notice a number of price boosts along the middle for a little added value. Finally what really did catch my eye was the link to the Virtual section which offered a tremendous amount of fun wagering opportunities on a diverse amount of sports. Bet Target did lack any sport promotions at the time of writing however this will more than likely change when a little more settled in the new platform.
Why Bet Target has their sportsbook as their homepage is beyond me! I’m sure it will change in the future as this place has a great casino with slots on tap. Their site is a work in progress and as mentioned earlier there are 3500+ titles to choose from from a wide range of quality providers. With the amount of choice on offer here I was surprised to see only a few genres to choose from. The Slots section contains Monopoly Hot Offer by Light and Wonder and 12 Bolts of Thunder by Thunderkick. The New section is home to Starburst Galaxy by Netent and 1.21 Gigawatts for all you Back to the Future fans again by Light and Wonder. Drops and Wins Pragmatic Play slots gets its own section too with 30+ titles including Big Bass Splash. There is also a vast range of 100+ Jackpot Slots within its own section with mainly Jackpot King, Rapid Fire Jackpots by Blueprint and Red Tiger Daily Jackpot games.
The search function here takes the all round player experience and general site navigation to another level. I wondered why there weren’t many genres of slot games here and I can now see why that is as you can pretty much do this when searching for games by provider. All games providers have their own drop down box and this will list all their games when selecting them. Eyecon has 23 titles and Elk Studios a whopping 61 in all their relevant sections, very impressive.
As I have mentioned before, Bet Target at the time of writing is a work in progress with the Live Casino a little bit of a “mish mash,” with video casino mixed in. There are tabs in the Casino area for Roulette, Blackjack, Poker, Baccarat and Game Shows all generally provided by Evolution and Pragmatic Play. Upon searching further I did find most Game Shows I looked for including Crazy Time and Snakes and Ladders Live. Bet Target currently doesn’t provide a bingo product, be that as it may if you haven’t tried Slingo this could be a great place to start. Although not the same, this popular game combines slots and bingo for an enjoyable change and has 20+ variants of the game at hand.
If you are a previous customer with Bet Target your old account has now become obsolete. The great thing is you can now sign up again and take advantage of their welcome offer.
Although at the time of writing Bet Target promotions page is a little bit empty, I feel this will change very shortly with them adding a variety of sportsbook and casino offers. They do however have a tempting welcome offer to get you started. Other promotions include Pragmatic Drops and Wins and a Daily prize drops.
Bet Target is also available by means of a mobile browser which works just as well as the desktop version with everything fitting nicely within a smaller screen. The sportsbook looked and worked slightly better via mobile with quick links running at the top and navigation slightly slicker. Unfortunately at the time of writing there is no mobile app available however, this is due to change soon so watch this space.
Bet Target accepts a wide range of payment methods including Skrill and Bank transfers and there are no charges for any deposits or withdrawals which is great to see.
Lastly, there is great Customer Support here if needed with live support to answer any questions you have. Alternatively you can find various information via their FAQ area or submit a message through a contact us query.
Bet Target is definitely a work in progress but you can already see and feel it’s a nice safe place to play slots and maybe have a flutter on your favourite sports. Its recent transition to the White Hat Gaming family could potentially make this gaming platform a little more mainstream. It has a massive choice of games from some great providers. It’s great to navigate around and could well be a smack on Target.
35 x (deposit+bonus) on slots, some games excluded (there’s a list in the terms & conditions)
Responsible Gambling Policy is supplied by White Hat. It’s got a self assessment questionnaire as well as advice and links to helpful organisations. There are the usual safer gambling tools plus the ability to place blocks at specified times weekly (and monthly to coincide with payday, which some players may find helpful).
