Woolly Bingo

IMPORTANT – Woolly Bingo and sister sites are changing hands in summer 2024 and the new owner may not retain any of the exclusive features.

Woolly Bingo features a brilliantly conceived design that comprises a knitted countryside backdrop complete with fabric barn, hay bales and a collection of yarn-style bingo balls – how refreshing to see that some effort has actually been put into the design.

OK so a lot of players don’t really care a great deal about theme. But it’s usually a good sign if an operator is willing to put the time and effort into serving a well-put-together, aesthetically pleasing platform. And indeed, another thing that they’ve clearly put some time and effort into is the Star Rewards scheme.  At the heart of this is the Woolly Wheel, which you also get to spin as part of the welcome offer.  In fact there are several different versions of the Woolly Wheel with different prizes and different numbers of segments; what’s common to all of them, and unlike any similar promotion elsewhere, is that all the segments are the same size and the wheel isn’t weighted so there’s an equal chance of winning any of the prizes.

For the most part, the clever design is retained on mobile devices as well which is of course where it’s at for the majority of bingo-gamers. So what about the games?

Woolly Bingo has all of the widely networked bingo rooms you’d expect to find at a Dragonfish site, running 90 ball, 75 ball and playing card bingo games, and it’s also got some extra rooms which are shared with just a few other sites, including the Wacky Wings room (named after sister site Butterfly Bingo) which runs a different promotion every evening (and they also have some other exclusive promotions).

Although Woolly Bingo has been around since 2016 it hasn’t been widely promoted. And no doubt there are many Dragonfish bingo aficionados who won’t have come across it before. With this in mind, the site should certainly appeal to anyone looking for something a bit different.
