Bingo.com is a name that has been around for years and years. It was bought by the Kindred Group (aka Unibet) back in 2016 and completely reinvented to run on the same Relax Gaming bingo platform (launched in July 2015) with the same bingo rooms (and large progressive jackpots) as Unibet itself, offering 75 ball bingo with and without the centre square free, 90 ball bingo and the exclusive Hexabingo game. It also has the same exceptionally good selection of slots (along with frequent free spins offers and tournaments).
Relax Gaming is not a well known bingo platform in the UK but players should have no concerns about giving it a try; in its launch year Bingo.com was chosen by a panel of experts from inside and outside the industry to win the Fair Play Award and you do not need to play for long to see that the site does indeed have an unusual degree of transparency for a bingo site. For example, there’s the display that runs during a game of bingo (in most of the rooms) showing not only which players have 1TG, but which number or numbers they need to win the line or FH prize. And there’s the three player HexaBingo game in which you can see everyone’s cards throughout. Although the Relax Gaming network only covers two UK facing sites (the other one is Unibet Bingo) the bingo rooms are generally pretty busy, with a mixture of UK and Scandinavian players, and the prizes are certainly worthwhile. Ticket prices are from 5p and while there are two rooms where the ticket prices look rather steep (50p and £1) they are “75 Var” rooms and the quoted price is for a strip of 3 tickets not just one.
The bingo rooms used to have chat but it was never particularly lively (perhaps because of language barriers) and it was eventually removed in early 2024 . There’s plenty else for players to do in the bingo rooms even without chat. Firstly there’s around 30 exclusive Relax Gaming minigames, including a couple that are connected to the Dream Drop progressive jackpot. And secondly there’s plenty of promotions, usually including daily bingo or minigame missions. The prizes vary from month to month (sometimes it’s raffle tickets and sometimes it’s scratchcards) and the missions vary (often they are based around a new minigame release) but the principle remains the same. There are often further promotions (stake & get, minigame tournaments) based round the same theme.
As well as all of these bingo promotions and tournaments, Bingo.com run regular slots tournaments in the Casino part of the site where the winner is the player with the biggest percentage win relative to stake (rather than the usual arrangement where the biggest spender wins). It’s an extremely well appointed casino with more than 2000 slot games and live casino by both Evolution and Prgamatic Play.
The welcome bonus at bingo.com is flexible and can be used on bingo or slots but the flipside of that is a wagering requirement more suited to a slots bonus than a bingo bonus. The bonusing system also includes bingo vouchers which can be won in raffles and chat games or from the Loyalty Wheel, are for use on bingo only and carry a much more modest wagering requirement.
Bingo.com used to have an Apple mobile app for easy access on the go, but it’s no longer in the app store. It’s super easy to visit via a phone browser though as all you need do is type bingo.com into the address bar! Mobile play got even better in autumn 2023 when they introduced a new version of the bingo software that’s optimised for phone screens.
All in all, Bingo.com is an absolute gem of a bingo site and it’s astounding that it’s not better known in the UK. Enjoy!
14 days access to Beginners’ Bingo Room.
Kindred’s Safer Gambling information page includes details of their player behaviour monitoring tool as well as of their safer gambling tools. As well as the usual deposit limits, reality check, take a break and self exclusion they offer loss limits and product blocking (e.g. block casino but keep bingo) .
Does your site have a free newbie room
This site did have a newbie room – you could play there for 14 days but only a few of the games were free. It may not still be there though.
