Bingo Barmy was launched in 2020 as a sister site to Lovehearts Bingo and Loadsa Bingo.  It looks great, with a fresh, playful, modern design featuring …well, some quite barmy things.  Giraffe in lipstick anyone?  Or how about the bastard offspring of a disco ball and a blow up flamingo?  It’s not just skin deep either; the theming is present on the registration page and goes right into the lobby.  The three sites used to share exclusive promotions and an exclusive bingo room (which was also available at a few other Dragonfish bingo sites under the same ownership) but they now have a new owner who has decided not to continue with that and hasn’t (yet) replaced it with anything new.

Bingo Barmy has the standard Dragonfish three step registration procedure and the only thing you will need to be aware of is that although you can spin the wheel immediately after making your first deposit, you won’t be able to play with the spins you win (and you are guaranteed to win some) until you have played through £5 of your deposit.

Bingo Games At Bingo Barmy

Now that the exclusive Royal Room has been removed, the bingo room line-up at Bingo Barmy is looking a bit patchy.  There’s three types of bingo on offer – 90 ball, 75 ball and the playing card based 52 ball game Bingo Deal and the prizes aren’t anything special, unless a progressive jackpot drops or the top prize comes up in the Mystery Jackpots room (a 75 ball room where the prize can be anything from £10 to £500 and is not announced until after ticket sales close).  Most bingo tickets are priced at 5p each; there’s one room with 1p tickets and slot spins as prizes but it only runs one game a day.

Bingo Barmy also has several free bingo rooms, most requiring a recent deposit and some with other entry qualifications such as reaching a certain level in the network loyalty scheme.  Finally there is the Kaching bingo game which plays daily with a prize pool of £35; free tickets for this can be obtained from the Wheel of Wins and in other player promotions.

Slot Games At Bingo Barmy

There’s a decent selection of popular slot games at Bingo Barmy – Fluffy Favourites, Thunderstruck Wild Lightning, 9 Masks of Fire, Immortal Romance, Fishin’ Frenzy, Wolf Gold, Big Bass Bonanza, Rainbow Riches – but other popular titles like Starburst, Cleopatra and Book of Dead are conspicuous by their absence.  And while you’d expect the New tab in the lobby to be full of new releases, it’s not; most of the games are back catalogue. For example, the newest Big Bass game on site is Big Bass Amazon Extreme and they haven’t added any of the more recent releases.  The selection of jackpot slots is also rather small – if you don’t like Fluffy games the only alternative is the jackpot version of Irish Luck. Slingo enthusiasts may also feel a bit short changed; the Slingo games have their own lobby tab but there’s less than 10 of them.

If you are a casual player looking to play slot games on your phone the relatively small range of games may not be an issue for you (and may even make it easier to find games in the lobby) but if you are passionate about slots and want to play all the latest releases as soon as they come out, you’re going to be disappointed.

Final Thoughts

The Wheel of Wins welcome offer at Bingo Barmy does have the advantage that you are guaranteed to win something, and none of the prize segments are ridiculously unlikely, but the prizes really aren’t that great.  The spins have a win cap and the prize in the Kaching room is just £35 regardless of the number of players.  Is Bingo Barmy still worth checking out even with this less than stellar welcome offer?  Maybe; the very fact that it’s No Wagering makes it much less hassle to play at than any Dragonfish site with wagering requirements
