Unfortunately we can't bring you an offer for Hunky Bingo at the moment. We're working to fix this, but in the meantime please visit our UK Bingo Sites page for a full list of other great offers
Hunky Bingo is a Dragonfish bingo site with a rather memorable theme. It’s changing hands on 1st April 2024 and it’s not clear what the new owners will do with it.
Hunky Bingo’s unique selling point is, well, hunky men and at launch (in March 2015) the site had lots of eye candy – male models in various states of undress. These were subsequently replaced by cartoon hunks but now, there’s a picture of a real man again. It’s rather more tastefully done than the original though, with the emphasis much more on personality and humour than on beefcake!
These two big design changes were both more than skin deep. The site originally launched on the Dragonfish network but in 2017 it moved to the Real Bingo Network with its No Wagering model. The Autumn 2020 redesign brought it back on to the Dragonfish network again with all the bingo rooms and promotions players know and love and, of course, a bingo bonus welcome offer.
So what lurks inside Hunky Bingo’s lobby? They promise “beefy bingo rooms, super slots games, bulging jackpots” but do they deliver?
If you ever played at a Dragonfish bingo site before you will know what to expect. There’s a decent selection of bingo rooms (Easy Peasy, Flip It, Bingo Deal, Mystery Jackpots etc) running 90 ball, 75 ball and 52-5 games with tickets mostly priced at 5p or 10p. Most but not all can be played with bonus and all are networked, some much more widely than others. Despite that, none of them are particularly busy so although the prizes are modest you have a decent chance of winning something if you play for a while. The lack of activity is largely down to the Dragonfish bingo software not having any proper pre-buy facilities; you can’t buy tickets in advance for the next few games and watch them play out, you have to keep paying attention and making sure you don’t miss the window to buy tickets for the next game.
Dragonfish get round this for bigger money games by placing each game in a room of its own. Hunky Bingo also has some free bingo rooms but most of them require you to have made a recent deposit to be allowed in.
The selection of slots at Dragonfish bingo sites used to vary wildly but since Broadway Gaming took ownership of the Dragonfish platform they are all largely the same. It’s a great selection and much better than you would think from looking at the parts of the Hunky Bingo site that can be viewed without a login. What’s not so great is that the lobby is so minimalist that it’s difficult to find new games to play unless you search for them by name; there’s just a couple of categories, New and Popular, and they only have a few games in each, otherwise it’s a case of scrolling though hundreds of games that are not in any particular order and show no information beyond the name of the game and its tile. There’s no category for jackpot slots but they do have some, mostly by Eyecon. It’s also worth noting that some of the slot games are not playable with a bonus; these are clearly marked Real Money Only in the lobby to avoid any confusion.
Perhaps the biggest plus point of Hunky Bingo and other Dragonfish sites over other types of bingo and slot sites is that bonuses only expire if you don’t log in regularly, so you can stack them up and play at your leisure.
Same as at all Dragonfish sites, linked from the site footer and account settings in the lobby (under Useful Links) – covers the basics with no extras.
