Hippo Bingo is a fun Dragonfish bingo site that has been around for getting on for a decade. As Dragonfish bingo sites go, it’s got an excellent selection of bingo rooms.

Hippo Bingo was originally fronted by a cute cartoon character, Hetti the Hippo, but she was removed in 2017 (just leaving her habitat behind) after the Gambling Commission told operators not to use cartoon characters to promote gambling and is not even in evidence inside the lobby.
What you WILL find inside the lobby is a lineup of bingo rooms that goes beyond the core rooms found at every Dragonfish bingo site. The player rewards system at Hippo Bingo is based on what you deposited and spent the previous week; the lower of the two determines your level and the lowest level starts at a deposit/spend of £25. I wagered my tenner and got my bonus. Got the money upto £110 and couldn’t withdraw any. Had to play pound spins for wagering requirements but lost it all before i could withdraw.I now feel cheated. Will not be playing again
All Dragonfish network sites now have this type of arrangement; it used to be possible to withdraw winnings without completing the wagering requirement (although you would lose any remaining bonus) but as of September 2015 winnings go into the bonus bankroll and stay there until the wagering is done.
