Cupcake Bingo

IMPORTANT – Cupcake Bingo and sister sites are changing ownership in Summer 2024 and it’s not clear what will happen to the lineup of bingo rooms and promotions.

Most United sites are ultimately owned by Rank, but Cupcake Bingo isn’t; like sister site Diva Bingo it is owned by Silverspins Media.  Both sites have the extra bingo rooms that you would normally expect to find at a United site.  These include several rooms where the prizes are slot game spins, some regular 75 and 90 ball rooms (as is the case at all Dragonfish bingo sites, there’s no prebuy in these) and the speciality of United, a number of rooms offering daily, weekly or monthly sliding jackpot bingo games.  These have large (in some cases, very large) headline prizes but to win them bingo has to be completed in a specified number of calls and this is generally extremely unlikely, with most games awarding a considerably smaller prize. Many players enjoy this lottery like style of play and if you’re one of them, you’ll prefer Cupcake to Dragonfish bingo sites without these extra rooms.

The original theming of Cupcake Bingo was absolutely stunning, styled on a retro recipe book, but it has recently been redesigned to put almost everything inside the lobby and there’s pretty well nothing left of the theming now, with no cupcakes in evidence anywhere.

Cupcake Bingo doesn’t have the trophies based loyalty scheme your would normally expect to find at a United site (that part of the lobby has been deactivated).  But what it does have is a great selection of slot games including some all time classics and the Dragonfish lobby is really easy to use on a mobile device.  It’s also super easy to see which slot games can and can’t be played with a games bonus – the ones that can’t are marked Real Money Only (and everything else contributes fully to wagering requirements).  On the other hand, Dragonfish are often slow to add new release slot games, so if you’re the type of player to want to play new games on the day they come out, Cupcake Bingo (or indeed any other Dragonfish bingo or slot site) probably won’t suit.

All in all, this lesser known Dragonfish bingo site still has plenty to offer players and although the welcome offer would once have been considered rather underwhelming, these days it is about par for the course.
