Candy Shop Bingo is a virulently pink Dragonfish bingo site that was known for its exclusive bingo rooms including penny bingo and exclusive player rewards scheme.
IMPORTANT – Candy Shop Bingo and its sister sites are changing hands in summer 2024 and it’s unlikely the new owner will continue with the exclusive bingo rooms and promotions.
Candy Shop Bingo is owned by Zenzero Limited who have a number of other Dragonfish bingo sites including Bubble Bonus Bingo and Butterfly Bingo and run an exclusive bingo room (Wacky Wings) and exclusive promotions across all the sites in the group. The Zenzero sites also have a couple of other bingo rooms (including a penny bingo room which is open lunchtimes) that are shared with just a few other sites, not right across the network. That’s on top of all the usual Dragonfish bingo rooms (Bounce’T, Top of the Shop, Easy Peasy, Mystery Jackpots etc).
Candy Shop Bingo also has Zenzero’s innovative Star Rewards scheme which credits players with free bingo tickets, slot spins and spins of the Candy Wheel based on their activity the previous week (deposit and play £25 to reach the lowest level). The Candy Wheel itself is unique amongst spin the wheel promotions in that all of the wheel segments have the same chance of coming up (most wheels look like they have equal segments but don’t really).
It’s a good thing Candy Shop Bingo has these extras because a lot of the other things that made it a standout amongst Dragonfish sites have had to be removed. When it was launched back in 2015, it had several bonus games. The problem was that these were all based around Candy Coins; players could collect these by making deposits and then put them in the candy machine or give them to Betty the Candy Chef. When cartoon characters were banned from bingo site theming in 2017, Candy Shop Bingo was hit particularly hard because it wasn’t just Betty who was judged to be too likely to appeal to children, it was the whole idea of sweets and candies and the similarities between the bonus games and well known video games. Everything has therefore had to be toned down so the candy is barely visible, and the bonus games had to go.
Despite all this, Candy Shop Bingo is still a very attractive looking site with more than the average Dragonfish site can offer.
4 x bonus. Cash play does not count. Some bingo rooms are cash only.
Candy Shop Bingo has the same Responsible Gaming document as every other Dragonfish site. It can be accessed from the site footer when not logged in and from account settings in the lobby when logged in (look under Useful Links to find it). Dragonfish offer the mandated safer gambling tools (deposit limits, reality check, take a break and self exclusion) with direct links to set them; players who self exclude from Candy Shop Bingo will also be self excluding from all other Dragonfish sites.
