Christmas 2022 at bingo.com & Unibet

This year, Unibet Bingo and bingo.com are running perhaps their most ambitious set of Christmas promotions yet, under the banner Winter Wonderland.  There’s scratchcard missions, cash drops, tournaments and more, every day until 31st December 2022.

If you’ve played at either of these sites in the last few months you will know that they have been running daily missions with scratchcards as rewards for some time now.  The theming of the scratchcards and prizes changes from month to month; during November it was the new minigame Dream Drop Vault and now – as you’d expect given the season – it’s Christmas.

Winter Wonderland scratchcards

This month, the scratchcards come in a staggering FIVE flavours:

• SNOWFLAKE BAUBLE scratchcards have a 25% chance of winning a prize.  You can collect one of these a day just for logging in.
• BRONZE BAUBLE scratchcards also have a 25% chance of winning a prize.  You can collect one of these by completing mission 1 in the bingo lobby.
• SILVER BAUBLE scratchcards have a 60% chance of winning a prize. You can collect one of these by completing mission 2 in the bingo lobby.
• GOLD BAUBLE scratchcards have a 100% chance of winning a prize.  You can collect one of these by completing mission 3 in the bingo lobby (if there is one – some days only have 2).  You can also collect a gold scratchcard by playing £20 on 75 or 90 ball bingo in one day, and this can be done multiple times.
• STAR scratchcards have a 100% chance of winning a prize.  You can collect one of these by playing £200 on 75 or 90 ball bingo in one day.

The missions can be bingo related (e.g. play in x games that are won on an odd number) or minigame related (e.g. have x winning spins in a specified minigame) and increase in difficulty each day, so mission 1 is always easy, mission 2 harder and mission 3 harder still to complete. If you undertake a bingo related mission, be sure to check you are playing the right sort of bingo game – 75 is not the same as 75 Var.

The prizes are cash, free spins on minigames or bingo vouchers.  The higher tiers of scratchcards don’t just have a better chance of a prize being awarded, the prizes are better as well (e.g. higher spin value on minigame spins).

Christmas Bingo Rooms

Santa’s Workshop is a regular bingo room that has been renamed for the festive period.  It’s a 75 var room (i.e. 75-25) with tickets mostly priced at £1 for a strip of 3.  Random cash drops happen just before every game in this room: Santa and his reindeer fly in and drop a present addressed to a player with tickets in the game.  The room also has some special games playing at 7pm, 8pm, 9pm and 10pm every evening with a minimum £500 prize pool and cards priced at £2 for a strip of three.

Winter Wonderland is a temporary addition.  It’s a 75 ball room (75-24) with cards priced at £2 each (that’s £2 for one card, not for a strip) for the £1000 game it runs every evening at 9.30pm.  Players can buy a maximum of 10 cards for this game.

Sleigh Ride Tournaments

It’s minigame tournament madness!  There’s FOUR minigame tournaments every day plus a weekly version.  You have to opt into all of them separately.

The Sleigh Ride daily minigame tournaments run for two hours at a time, starting at 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm UK time (the times given on the website are in CET which is an hour ahead). In each tournament, the aim is to get the biggest win relative to stake over 20 consecutive spins on one of the Relax exclusive minigames, with a minimum spin value of 20p.  If you aren’t sure which minigame to play you can visit the main tournament page to view the tiles for the games that are included; they show the RTP, lowest spin value (in some cases this is more than 20p) and in most cases the volatility rating. The top 10 in each tournament win cash prizes of £5 – £25, worth £100 in all.

The Weekly Sleigh Ride is the same format, run over a whole week, with the added proviso that you must play a minimum of 75 spins to qualify (in the daily tournaments, it’s just the 20 you need to get a score on the board).  The prizes are much bigger – £250 for the winner, £150 for 2nd place, £100 for 3rd, £50 for 4th – 10th and £10 for the rest of the top 20.
