Loony Bingo is a Dragonfish powered bingo site from the people behind Gossip Bingo, Sugar Bingo and a number of other sites. It’s been around since 2015 and the original theme was beautifully executed with assorted googly eyed bingo balls in various types of fancy dress.
Sadly the googly eyed bingo balls had to go when the purge of cartoon characters was done in autumn 2017 but the site is still nice looking and the new welcome offer is definitely an improvement.
The bingo rooms at Loony Bingo have only a bit of overlap with the main Dragonfish network, in the form of the very widely networked “Linked and Loaded” 75 and 90 ball rooms which are present (under various names) at every Dragonfigh powered bingo site, plus the Mystery Jackpots room, Bingo Roulette and the playing card based Suit Up. Rooms such as Chatterbox are absent as is the normal array of daily jackpots and free bingo.
Instead, Loony Bingo has 75 and 90 ball rooms and jackpot games that are only shared with sister sites; in the case of the jackpot games they are almost all sliding jackpots (games in which there is a substantial sum to be won in the unlikely event that full house is won in a small number of calls). The free bingo rooms are also unique to Loony Bingo and other United sites. There are four of them and to gain entry to any, you need to have deposited very recently; make a bigger deposit to be allowed into more rooms with bigger prizes.
There’s also some bingo games with slot spins as prizes – and that brings us on to the slots, which are perhaps a bigger draw at this particular site than the actual bingo. What you see on Loony Bingo’s home page is nothing to what’s available once you get inside the lobby – there’s a huge selection of games. It is worth knowing that they can’t all be played with bonus but the ones that can’t be are clearly marked in the lobby as cash only.
The United group of bingo sites, of which Loony Bingo is one, have a very engaging player rewards system that is based on trophies. You complete achievements to fill a meter, and when it’s full you get to spin a prize wheel.
