Amber Spins

Launched in 2021, Amber Spins is one of a number of Dragonfish sites owned by Tau Marketing Services Ltd.  Along with several sister sites, it’s been sold to an undisclosed buyer and will change hands on April 1st 2024, so its future is uncertain.

As is usual with Dragonfish sites, the full range of slot games and promotions is only visible once you’re inside the lobby i.e. after you’ve signed up for an account – and there’s a lot more than you would expect from looking at the registration page.

The latest version of the lobby at Amber Spins is pretty minimalistic.  The only categories are Popular, New and All, and the first two of these only have a dozen games each in them.  Everything else, including Slingo, instant win games and jackpots as well as regular slot games, is all mixed up in the All category which is only partially alphabetised.  There’s an intelligent search facility which will return all the Megaways games as well as the Fluffy Mega Jackpot and several other games with “mega” in the name when you search on “mega”, but if you don’t know the exact name of the game you want (or are just looking for inspiration) you may have to scroll a long way down to find something to play as there’s no way to search on provider.  Nor is there any way of marking a game as a favourite to make it easier to find it later.  While removing clutter from games lobbies does make them easier to navigate on moblie devices, we can’t help thinking Dragonfish have gone too far in this particular instance.

Also inside the lobby, you’ll find a page about the player rewards scheme and a very well written FAQ covering wagering requirements, support, payments, playing safe and several other areas.

Lastly there is the promotions page but apart from a reminder of the default welcome offer (which is not as good as our exclusive one) there’s not a great deal on there; Amber Spins is one of those sites that likes to send out personalised offers via email and sometimes SMS rather than opening them to all players.  There IS a daily deposit offer, however, and it really is changed every day.

Amber Spins or indeed any other Dragonfish site won’t be to your taste if you like table or live dealer games as there aren’t any, but if your main focus is slots it has the huge advantage that the bonus doesn’t expire as long as you keep playing regularly, so there’s no time pressure to play it through.
