Mr Slot is a Progress Play casino that has been around since 2016 but hasn’t been advertised much in the UK until now.

Not to be confused with Dr Slot or Mr Spin (both of which were mobile casinos by Intouch), Mr Slot is a fairly standard looking Progress Play casino without a sportsbook, especially now it’s moved on to the latest version of the Progress Play lobby and no longer has much in the way of visible theming (not that that would be particularly visible on a mobile device anyway).

The new lobby has pretty good layout offering several different ways of finding games you want to play. You can search by name or provider and these options are the most prominent on mobile devices. The search starts to return results when you’ve typed just two characters in and this really helps to narrow it down if you’re not 100% sure of the name of the game you’re looking for. You can also filter by provider or browse the various games categories; these are accessed by swiping the menu bar on a phone screen or by clicking on the little dots below the menu bar on a big screen. As well as new, featured and all slot games there are areas for table games, live casino (including game shows by Evolution and Playtech as well as blackjack, roulette etc), casual games (scratchcards, virtual sports and other instant win games) and jackpots (almost all of which are by Eyecon). At the end of the row, there’s an area for Favourites; you can save games to here directly from the lobby by means of the little heart icon on the game tile. And recently added is Vegas, an area for slot games by Playtech and subsidiaries.

Mr Slot does differ from most other Progress Play casinos in the range of promotions available. Instead of a smorgasbord of leaderboards, deposit codes and cashback offers, they focus on easy to understand and worthwhile weekly use deposit offer codes.

Otherwise, Mr Slot shares both strengths and weaknesses with other casinos on the Progress Play platform. Some of the strengths are:

Lobby usability as described above
New games are added promptly
Range of deposit and withdrawal methods

and the weaknesses include

Missing some major slot providers (IGT, Yggdrasil)
Low max conversion from bonus play
Withdrawal speed isn’t great and there is a fee

As long as none of these weaknesses are deal breakers for you (and they probably will be for some), Mr Slot is definitely worth checking out.
