LeoVegas

About LeoVegas

The LeoVegas brand was first launched in 2012, the brainchild of two visionaries who recognised the importance of smartphones years before everyone else in the industry.  Mobile first from the start, it has been going from strength to strength ever since.  It’s an international brand with a strong presence in the Nordic countries and many other geos in Europe and further afield as well as in the UK.  Sports betting was added in 2016, shortly after the company listed on the stock market.

After acquiring several other online casinos such as Royal Panda and the “RocketX” brands including 21.co.uk and pink casino, LeoVegas was itself acquired in 2022 and is now an indirect subsidiary of MGM Resorts International.

Bingo at LeoVegas (or not)

Why did LeoVegas even have bingo in the first place?  Well, when LeoVegas took over the RocketX brands in 2018, those sites were running on the Bede Gaming casino platform which also included a bingo product.  This Bede Gaming bingo product had never really gained much traction in the market after the failure of flagship site Bingo Godz so it came as no surprise when all these sites migrated in early 2020 to the LeoVegas proprietary casino platform with bingo supplied by Pragmatic Play.  Having done the necessary work to integrate the Pragmatic Play bingo rooms with the LeoVegas platform, it took little effort to bring them to LeoVegas as well.  There was no chat in any of these bingo rooms – they did have it to start with but it wasn’t much used.

As bingo was so sidelined, it came as no surprise that when the Pragmatic Play bingo product was retired in summer 2026, LeoVegas elected not to replace it.

There’s still a Bingo area in the casino lobby but it’s dedicated to other games bingo players may find of interest.  There’s several video bingo games (where you play against the house rather than against other players), lots of Slingo games and a curated selection of live casino game shows such as Mega Ball and The Bingo Spot that are based round bingo style draws.

The door isn’t shut on bingo entirely, however. Although they say “At the moment there are no immediate plans to replace it with another provider” they also say “We recommend keeping an eye on our site for any future updates”.

Other Games At LeoVegas

Slots is an area where LeoVegas truly excels.  There’s an absolutely top drawer selection of games including pretty well everything you could possibly want and new releases are added as soon as they come out.

There’s a great selection of progressive jackpots, including Dream Drop, Megapays, Mega Moolah, WowPots, Jackpot King, Age of the Gods, Hall of Gods, Holmes and the Stolen Stones and Fire Blaze Jackpots.

LeoVegas also has some exclusives.  There’s a dozen or so exclusive slot games plus the exclusive LeoJackpot which is an optional progressive jackpot system just for players on LeoVegas licensed sites.  You can opt into it within the selected games which include popular titles like Immortal Romance, Spartacus Megaways, Jammin’ Jars 2, Temple Tumble Megaways, Reactoonz, Book of Dead, Rainbow Riches, 9 Pots of Gold, Twin Spin, Bonanza, Money Train 2 and several Evolution live casino games shows. When you opt in, part of your stake is deducted to go towards the progressive jackpots (of which there are four).

If you don’t spot anything you want to play in one of the many Casino lobby areas (which include table games and instant win games as well as various categories for slot games) you can use the search box, which starts to return results when you’ve put in just one character and includes near misses so that you can still find the game you want in the case of a fat fingers typo.

The Live Casino lobby at LeoVegas is packed with live dealer tables (several of which are LeoVegas exclusives) and game shows from Evolution, Pragmatic Play, Playtech, OnAir Entertainment, Authentic Gaming and Stakelogic. It’s one of the best selections of live casino games you’ll find anywhere.

Then there’s the sportsbook, which is designed for ease of use on mobile phones and offers a huge range of markets with bet builder and in play betting.

Other Considerations

LeoVegas have always been innovative (as mentioned earlier they were touting a mobile based product long before most people in the industry realised that mobile play was even a thing) and were first to experiment with a radically different approach to wagering requirements. The way it worked was that you filled the wagering requirement via cash with your deposit (or subsequent deposits if needed) and only after that did you receive the welcome offer, as a cash reward. Now that high wagering requirements are banned in the UK, they’ve moved to a simple free spins offer which you can claim after playing through your deposit just the once.

They are just as innovative with their promotions – how about a regular promotion where you can win free spins simply by engaging with them on social media?  No need to keep checking the promotions page either – if there’s a promotion you are eligible for, you’ll see a notification about it after you log in.

As you’d expect from a mobile first brand, Apple and Android apps are available for enhanced security and ease of use when playing on a phone.  There’s not a huge range of payment methods, but Apple Pay is one of them.

And another thing – they have prompt, helpful customer service!

Final Thoughts

With such a great choice of betting and gaming products, LeoVegas is truly a site to rival the big bookies. It’s well worth checking out if you don’t already have an account there.
