Fluffy Favourites is a perennially popular and rather high variance slot game that is getting on for 20 years old and has spawned a large number of sequels, mostly featuring “Nelly” the pink elephant wild symbol. Unlike other popular slot games such as Fishin’ Frenzy and Rainbow Riches, Fluffy Favourites is not based on a physical slot machine but has always been online only. A favourite of bingo players for many years, the Fluffy series is now to be found at a wide range of slot and casino sites and the sequels keep on coming!
Origins of Fluffy Favourites
Fluffy Favourites is the brainchild of Eyecon, a software development company originally based in Brisbane, Australia that has been around since 1997 and became a Playtech subsidiary in 2017. Fluffy Favourites was one of their earlier releases (even before the likes of Shaman’s Dream and Sugar Train) and it has been available to play at online bingo sites for what seems like forever. Its journey to world domination really got under way in 2013 when the tablet and mobile version was released.
Why Players Love Fluffy Favourites
So what is all the fuss about? Well, here are some things that the bingo players who were the original audience absolutely loved about the original Fluffy Favourites game
It’s all about cuddly toys
It has a fun bonus round where you get to choose cuddly toys via an amusement arcade style crane game
It has dancing pink elephants
It looks soft but plays hard – its high variance opens up the possibility of big wins
Compared to the blockbuster slot games of the 2020s, Fluffy Favourites is very simple – but that can actually be a plus point if you want something to play on a phone or tablet while waiting for a bingo game to start or even for a bus! Its popularity might also be something to do with the soundtrack; there is no background music, just the oddly compelling sound of the reels clicking to a stop – but a bass note plays when either of the two bonus symbols comes up and a musical flourish plays for a winning line.
Fluffy Favourites – Gameplay
Fluffy Favourites has 25 paylines and as previously mentioned all of the regular symbols are cuddly toys.
Nelly the pink elephant is the wild symbol. When she forms part of a winning line, not only is the win doubled but a rainbow appears behind her and she starts to dance to her own special music in a particularly cute way.
Three or more pink elephants anywhere on screen trigger the free spins bonus round which is 15 free spins for 3 elephants, 20 for 4 and 25 for 5 elephants. All wins are tripled, and if you are lucky enough to get three or more elephants again during the free spins, more free spins are added. The free spins play through automatically accompanied by some very jaunty fairground music ! The background also changes from day to night to add to the party atmosphere.
The other bonus round, the toybox, is triggered by the appearance of 3 or more claw symbols anywhere on screen. More special fairground music starts to play and the crane game starts. Here, you get to pick one toy for each claw symbol in the triggering spin. Each toy awards a prize of up to 100x the triggering bet and this can result in some large wins.
A Host Of Sequels
At the end of 2015 (nearly 10 years after the release of the original game) the first sequel to Fluffy Favourites was rolled out to the market, starting with Dragonfish bingo sites. Fluffy Too is very similar to the original and although the claw bonus round is replaced by a coin pusher bonus round, it is still a pick me type bonus with each pick awarding up to 100 x bet. The main difference between the two games occurs in the base game and is visual – this time round, the elephant turns its back and shakes its booty.
In summer 2016 the progressive version of Fluffy Too was rolled out and at sites with Eyecon progressive jackpots, original and sequel share the same jackpot allowing players to choose whether they like to see the elephant doing its original dance or prefer to see it twerking.
Two further sequels followed, Fluffy Favourites Fairground and Fluffy In Space. Both are similar to the original and include the twerking pink elephant, but Fluffy In Space introduced a new bonus feature; when you spin three or more pink elephants, you are awarded three respins in which to try and collect more pink elephants. Each time you collect one the number of remaining respins gets reset to three; when you’ve either run out of respins or filled the reels with Nellies, they turn around and twerk one a time to reveal a stake multiplier.
It was only a matter of time until such a popular series of games was given the Megaways treatment, and Fluffy Favourites Megaways duly made its appearance in March 2021. It’s quite different to the other games in the series as the Megaways characteristics (exploding wins and increasing muliplier) outweigh the Fluffy characteristics (the elephant isn’t even wild).
In 2022, Eyecon released Fluffy Favourites Remastered. This was NOT just a reskin of the original game with modern graphics – the RTP was also adjusted and not for the better! It was one of the first Fluffy games to have variable Return To Player and at most UK sites it was set to around 93% while earlier games in the series were closer to 95%.
Later in 2022, Fluffy Favourites Mix’n’Win was released. This version of the game allows players to select the bonus features they would like to have in the game before starting to play. Free Games is always enabled and any or all of Grab A Fluffy, Coin Pusher and Hook A Fluffy can also be selected (although these are all very similar pick-me rounds they are visually different from each other). The RTP of Mix’n’Win at UK facing sites was also set to around 93%.
In early 2023, this downward RTP trajectory continued when Dragonfish announced that new versions of Fluffy Too and Fluffy Favourites Fairground were being introduced with variable RTP of 93% – 95%. In 2026, almost all Fluffy games have variable RTP and we recommend checking the game help files before playing to find out what it is. You can see these RTP ranges in the table above; currently, Fluffy In Space is the outlier at 96.35%.
The next game to be released in the Fluffy series was an instant win game rather than a slot game. Developed in conjunction with instant win game provider, IWG, Fluffy Favourites Lucky Tap continues the fairground theming of the earlier games with a ring throw game mechanic. If the ring goes on a bottle it lights up 3 to 18 prizes and the player wins everything that’s lit up. Three of the prizes are bonus symbols and if they all light up the bonus round (10 free plays) is triggered.
This game also goes by the name of Fluffy Arcade Ring Toss Lucky Tap and under this name, it’s got a lower minimum stake and may have a higher RTP (as shown in the table)
The series then returned to slot games with Fluffy Favourites 10. After that, in early 2025, came Fluffy Favourites Cash Collect, putting the very popular Cash Collect game mechanic together with the iconic pink elephant. This game was a major departure in that it was created by Playtech not Eyecon.
Eyecon haven’t left the party though – far from it! Whack A Fluffy also came out in early 2025, combining the familiar pink elephant and free spins bonus round with another bonus round styled on Whack A Mole (except it’s the Fluffy plushies). Essentially, it’s a pick-me bonus round which awards stake multipliers up to 500x. Two more Lucky Tap games, Fluffy Arcade DoubleUp Ducks Lucky Tap, and Fluffy Arcade Coconut Shy Lucky Tap, have also been added to the lineup as has the rather bizarre spin-off Fondant Favourites Star Trail featuring a candy version of the pink elephant.
Even more Fluffy games are in the pipeline – Eyecon released Fluffy Favourites Clawmania in November 2025 and it’s been reported that another Playtech game, Fluffy Favourites Collect Em, is also on the horizon (but it’s possibly just a different name for Fluffy Favourites Cash Collect).
The Fluffy Arcade games are not the only non slot games in the Fluffy arsenal. Slingo Fluffy Favourites is a version of the popular slots meets bingo game in which all prizes are bonus rounds inspired by the Fluffy slot games. It comes complete with twerking pink elephant wilds. There have also been two versions of Fluffy Favourites Bingo, one from Playtech and one from Entain, but only the Playtech version, which is essentially a 90 ball bingo game which awards one of several Fluffy themed feature games as well as the regular full house prize, is still around.
Fluffy Favourites Jackpots
Almost all online casinos and bingo sites have the regular versions of several Fluffy games, but the progressive jackpot versions are a bit less common.
Eyecon jackpots are all local progressives, similar to Jackpot King by Blueprint. That means that each site or group of sites has its own progressive jackpot server (unlike the likes of Mega Moolah or Dream Drop where all instances of a game worldwide are connected to the same jackpot).
Fluffy slots with progressive jackpots all have 3 jackpots called Mini, Maxi and Mega (and yes, the Mega jackpot is still called Mega even if you’re playing for the Super jackpot). The jackpots drop randomly during play (but never on a free spin); it used to be that each had a preset maximum before which it must drop but this seems to have changed in the last few years as there’s no longer any reference to it in the game help files.
Not only does each jackpot server have its own pots, but the seed amounts for the jackpots vary. These seed amounts and the progressive contribution all come out of player stakes and that contribution (3%) remains the same whichever server you are on; it is the balance between the three jackpots (and the likelihood each one has of dropping) that is different.
It gets even more confusing than that though. For a start, at Dragonfish sites there’s actually TWO Fluffy progressive jackpots, the Super and the Mega, which behave rather differently.

At non Dragonfish sites the jackpots are different again. Here’s the rather unimpressive version at Jumpman Gaming sites, with seed values of £500 for Mega, £100 for Maxi and £10 for Mini.

Look at other sites and you’ll probably find it’s different again there. And just to be even more confusing, there’s Fluffy Favourites Cash Collect which is on a completely different system with four much smaller jackpots.
As of 2026 Fluffy jackpot games don’t have variable Return To Player; as you can see from the table above, all instances come in at around 90% for the base game plus 3% jackpot contribution.
However, the differences in actual and seed value of the jackpots between different sites mean that it potentially makes a difference where and when you play the slot (which is not the case with the normal type of progressive jackpot slots). When the seed amounts are higher, more of the 3% jackpot contribution is set aside to fund the next seeding and less goes to grow the current jackpots. As the chance of the jackpot dropping on any particular spin remains constant relative to stake, the jackpots that grow more slowly will tend to drop at a lower value than the jackpots with a bigger stake percentage contribution. This is partly why the Jumpman Mega jackpot is so much lower than the others (it’s probably also because their server has fewer players).
Also, while the probability that a jackpot will drop on your next spin stays constant and so does the long term payout percentage of the slot, the expected return on your next spin varies depending on what the current progressive jackpot amount is. In other words, if you want to play a Fluffy jackpot game and have a choice of several sites to play at, go for the one with the biggest Mega jackpot as in the extremely unlikely event that you do win, you’ll win a larger amount.
Enticing as the jackpots may be, it is NOT necessary to play the progressive version of a Fluffy game in order to have a chance at a big win; in original Fluffy Favourites, if you spin 5 hippos (including at least one pink elephant wild) you win 10,000 x line bet (which would be tripled if it happened in the bonus round).
Fluffy Favourites and Bingo
The Fluffy Favourites games and bingo go together like fish and chips, and one reason for that is that in the early days prior to the Playtech takeover, Eyecon slots were exclusive to online bingo sites managed by 888 Holdings (today, these are all Dragonfish sites operated by Broadway Gaming). In those days it wasn’t common for online casinos to have slots from many different game providers, so as well as the Eyecon slots being exclusive, these bingo sites didn’t have many other slot games apart from 888’s own exclusive slots.
Another cause of the synergy between Fluffy Favourites and bingo is that most of the Fluffy games can be played either as a regular slot game or (at bingo sites with Dragonfish or Playtech bingo which is an awful lot of them) as a mini game inside a bingo room. This makes it easy to play a few rounds of a Fluffy game while you’re playing bingo and waiting for the next game to start. The mini game version retains all the special effects such as the dancing elephants. No surprise then that at UK bingo sites, Fluffy’s popularity remains truly phenomenal. It’s also mostly at bingo sites that you’ll find the Fluffy progressive jackpot games.
The only snag with playing Fluffy Favourites at a bingo site is that if the welcome offer is for bingo, you won’t be able to use the bonus to play Fluffy games. From January 2026, mixed product offers like those which offer free spins on a Fluffy game alongside a bingo bonus will no longer be allowed. So if you are looking for a site where you can play Fluffy Favourites with bonus, it will need to be somewhere with a slots offer (but do check the terms and conditions to ensure Fluffy Favourites is included in the promotion).
Fluffy Favourites – The Future
Fluffy Favourites has been loved by players for getting on for 20 years and we don’t see that changing any time soon; its high variance is very much in tune with modern taste in slot games and the incorporation of new game mechanics like Megaways and Cash Collect keep the sequels fresh. We expect to see more Fluffy games from both Eyecon and Playtech in the coming months and maybe even some more Fluffy spin off games.
