Coral Bingo Leaves Virtue Fusion

The Virtue Fusion bingo platform by Playtech powers what is generally held to be the biggest and best network of online bingo sites in the UK (it certainly offers the biggest prizes!) so it comes as quite a surprise to find that Coral Bingo, after many years as a Virtue Fusion bingo site, has moved on to GVC’s proprietary bingo software linking it to Foxy Bingo. The GVC software is a much improved version of the Cozy bingo software that GVC acquired when they bought Cozy Games back in autumn 2017.
The new bingo rooms at Coral are apparently all networked with Foxy and include the GVC exclusive Friends™ Bingo but not the recently introduced Cash Out, and we believe that there are several other rooms that are at Foxy only.
Coral Bingo may have lost popular bingo games such as Deal Or No Deal Bingo and Fluffy Favourites Bingo along with all those big money Virtue Fusion network promotions, but where it has gained is on the slots side; the GVC platform gives bingo players access to a much wider range of slot games including classics like Starburst and Cleopatra.
The big question is, what will happen to the bingo at GVC’s other two brands, Ladbrokes Bingo and the flagship brand Gala Bingo? Will they follow Coral? GVC and Playtech have a long-term agreement, signed a year ago, that lasts until 2025 so this won’t necessarily happen in the short term. We imagine GVC will wait to see how the Coral move goes down with players before planning any more migrations, but who knows? Maybe they will even start opening new bingo sites on the GVC software!

Gala are now giving players the similar limited info Coral gave out. e.g bonuses must be redeemed by 4th Feb or lost, small number of rooms closing etc before ‘minor’ changes.
Almost certainly migrating but won’t tell players in advance as they don’t want them withdrawing funds and moving to another VF site. If we still have funds in our accounts on the 4th will just carry on playing won’t we?
