Lucky Pants Bingo Now On Virtue Fusion!

We’ve seen quite a few surprise bingo software changes this year, perhaps the biggest shock being the departure of Coral Bingo and Ladbrokes Bingo from Virtue Fusion.  Now there’s a surprise move in the other direction – after more than 7 years on the Daub Alderney proprietary bingo software, Lucky Pants Bingo now has shiny new bingo rooms powered by Virtue Fusion!

Lucky Pants Bingo is not just a regular Virtue Fusion bingo site either.

1. The operator behind Lucky Pants Bingo is Stride Gaming – which is owned by Rank, the operator of Mecca Bingo.  That means that as well as network Virtue Fusion bingo rooms, Lucky Pants has Mecca specials including Emoji Bingo and BOB.  In case you’re not aware of what BOB is, it stands for Best Odds Bingo and each game has a maximum of 25 players with a fixed 10 tickets each.
2. The bingo is essentially a plug in product, with the back end management and licence remaining with Daub.  That means Lucky Pants gets to keep a big choice of slot games that you wouldn’t normally find at Virtue Fusion, including exclusive Daub slots and a range of titles by Novomatic.  The usual Virtue Fusion slots are now available too, but only inside the bingo lobby.
3. Because of the plug in nature of the bingo, the welcome bonus offer can’t be used on anything in the bingo lobby (including the aforementioned Virtue Fusion slot games).  Instead, it’s valid for scratch and arcade games plus a selection of 14 “top slots” which have clearly been chosen for their enduring popularity.  Rainbow Riches, Reactoonz, Starburst and Shaman’s Dream are just a few of them.

The software change makes a lot of sense.  The Daub bingo network has been gradually losing liquidity for quite some time now and that’s really important to what makes a good bingo site. Liquidity is the amount of money that comes into the system from ticket sales and that’s what dictates the size of the prizes on offer; if the prizes are not large enough to be appealing to players everyone gradually drifts away from the bingo rooms and the quieter it gets, the more players leave.  The huge liquidity of Virtue Fusion will certainly give Lucky Pants Bingo a new lease of life!

The question now is, what will happen to Kitty Bingo, the only remaining bingo site on the Daub software?   We’re betting it won’t stay there for much longer, but where will it go? Will Kitty join Lucky Pants Bingo on Virtue Fusion and will we see BOB available to play there too?  Or something else?
