Unibet probably isn’t the first name that springs to mind when you think “big bookie” as they don’t have a UK high street presence, but if you’re looking for a really reputable site that combines sportsbook, casino, live casino, bingo and poker then it is certainly one to consider.

About Unibet

Unibet has been around since 1997, at first taking bets over the telephone and then launching their website in 1999. Today, they operate all over the world, have won multiple awards and are well known for their sports sponsorship and brand ambassador deals, one of the more unusual ones being with chess grandmaster Magnus Carlsen. In the UK, they mainly sponsor horse racing including the Unibet Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

The Unibet Group plc rebranded in 2016 as Kindred Group plc, which is now owned by FDJ United. FDJ are continuing the Journey To Zero commitment to social responsibility which Kindred started in 2021; their aim is for zero percent of their revenue to come from harmful gambling. The other brands in the group are non UK apart from two – 32red and bingo dot com.

Sports Betting at Unibet

The first thing that you will notice when you visit the sports betting part of the Unibet site that there’s actually two sports betting areas! Racing (horses and greyhounds) is considered important enough to have its own part of the site with upcoming races, results, live streaming and extra content including guides and tips.

The main sportsbook includes a bet builder and bet calculator as well as a betting guide. It offers an excellent range of sports bets, often in much greater depth than other sites do. For example, while most betting sites will let you place a bet on Formula 1 races, Unibet also offers bets on qualifying, practice and Formula 2.

If you’re into esports you will be pleased to hear that they are very well represented with more than 999 bets available.

Both parts of the sportsbook have virtual sports which you can bet on when there’s no live sport scheduled, and the Unibet website also has an attached sports blog which is kept very much up to date.

Bingo at Unibet

The bingo at Unibet is powered by Relax Gaming, who are best known in the UK for their rather wonderful Dream Drop progressive jackpot slots. The bingo product is not very well known at all, which is a shame as it’s a great product on all devices and anyone who likes to play bingo and hasn’t tried it is definitely missing out.

The Relax Gaming bingo network includes a number of Scandinavian sites as well as the two for UK players, and this means that there is a big emphasis on 75 ball bingo. Of the 7 bingo rooms on offer at the time of writing (June 2025), 5 are 75 ball and only 2 are 90 ball. The full lineup is:

Relax also run special bingo rooms from time to time. For example, in May 2025 there was 1 Line Bingo, a 75/24 room with a ticket price of £1 and (as you’d expect from the name) a prize for the first player or players to get one line – very much a speed form of the game!

At first glance some of these may look a bit pricey; however, in the “75 Var” rooms you buy tickets in strips of three and the quoted price is for three tickets not one. All of the 75 ball rooms (apart from 1 Line Bingo, obviously) have prizes for all 5 lines.

Relax Gaming bingo has a number of unique features, perhaps the most interesting being that in most of the rooms while a bingo game is going on, there is a display showing the names of the other players with 1TG to the next line prize, including the ball numbers they need. Top marks for transparency there.

There are also other features that make a bingo game more exciting to watch, such as slowing down the calls when there are players with 1TG.

Unibet has an innovative bingo rewards scheme where you level up through playing bingo and minigames and spin the wheel each time to collect a bingo voucher, cash or free spins (unless you’re very unlucky). The bingo promotions which they run from time to time are equally innovative; there’s been tournaments (where you score by winning lines), random cash drops and daily missions to complete, with scratchcards or raffle tickets as rewards. Most of the free spins that are given out are genuine free spins with no wagering requirements and in the case of bonuses, the play order is usually bonus first.

If you enjoy playing minigames at the same time as bingo, you will be intrigued to hear that the Relax Gaming bingo rooms offer more than 30 of their exclusive minigames (some of which are connected to the Dream Drop progressive jackpot). These are also often the subject of player promotions; there’s regular tournaments with cash prizes for the best wins relative to stake, and when a new minigame is launched there’s typically a month long promotion based around it.

What Unibet Bingo doesn’t have, however, is any chat in the bingo rooms – Relax removed it in early 2024 as it wasn’t much used.

Slot Games at Unibet

The slots selection at Unibet is really something special. There’s more than 3500 games available to play from dozens of different game studios, including close to 200 from Relax Gaming.

Looking at the progressive jackpot slot games is often an indicator of how good the overall selection is and at Unibet there’s literally hundreds of them including Dream Drop, Big Time Gaming Megapays, Age of the Gods, Sporting Legends, Mega Moolah, WowPot, Jackpot King, Gladiator Jackpot, Mega Fortune, Diamond Link, Cash Connection and Red Tiger Daily Jackpots.

To help you find games you’ll enjoy, Unibet has an extremely powerful game filtration system. You can filter by features (e.g. colossal symbols, expanding wilds), by themes (e.g Irish, Vikings, Halloween), by provider and by paylines. The game tiles in the lobby also show the current jackpot (if any) and game provider and there’s a pop-up info panel that shows number of paylines and volatility, with a link to the demo version of the game (for registered players only).

I did notice that in the casino part of the lobby, it’s almost all slots. In terms of non slot games, all that is immediately visible is around 60 Slingo games in an area of their own and around 20 non live dealer casino games in the Table Games area (which also features many games from the live casino, which we’ll come on to shortly). Other Things To Consider

Unibet has a mobile casino app which is available on Apple and Android making it super easy to play slots and live casino on a mobile phone, though it should be noted that not all the games on the website are on the app (you can access any missing favourites by visiting the casino website from your phone’s browser). There’s separate apps for poker and sportsbook. If you want to play bingo on mobile, you can do so by visiting the website on your phone’s browser.

The Special Offers page at Unibet is full of promotions for all of their products, including regular slots tournaments with cash or free spins to be won; usually these are scored on the biggest single spin win relative to stake.
