Red Casino is brand new on Aspire for Autumn 2023. Our exclusive welcome offer consists entirely of bonus spins on that most popular of slot games, Big Bass Bonanza.
Red popped up in late 2023 as the newest project from Jupiter Gaming (the Jersey-based crew who also run a string of other Aspire and Jumpman casino brands). The tech and licence come from Aspire Global, so if you’ve ever played at, say, Hopa or Mr Play, the underlying machinery will feel familiar – but Red’s lobby tweaks make it less of a cookie-cutter clone (more on that later).
It’s actually presented much more as a casino than a slot site – the most prominent menu items are Slots, Live Casino, Blackjack, Roulette and Promotions and the theming includes some very glamorous croupiers. And they do indeed have a lot of blackjack and roulette tables – plus live casino game shows by Evolution and Skywind.
Registration doesn’t ask for anything you wouldn’t expect: e-mail, username, password, DOB, address and phone number. There’s a cheeky toggle for “Opt-In” to the welcome offer right before the Submit button, which can be easy to miss if you’re racing through the form. I toggled it on, deposited £20 with Skrill, and bang: 100% match appeared. No SMS pin, no surprise ID pop-ups, and the cashier immediately suggested setting a deposit limit.
From hitting Join to opening my first slot game took maybe two minutes – and that includes the time I spent choosing a username that wasn’t already taken.
With 2,200 games, Red Casino’s slot lobby isn’t just big – it’s eclectic – and that comes down to the way the operator cherry-picked its suppliers. The headline names are all present like NetEnt, Play’n GO and Pragmatic Play more indie brands like Hacksaw’s catalogue and Push Gaming contribute cult favourites like Jammin’ Jars 2 and Razor Shark.
It’s this mix of games that shows that Red Casino really has players in mind. You’ve got so much variety in terms of game mechanics and themes; it’s really hard to get bored while browsing the selection here.
Red’s lobby tweaks are, quite honestly, some of the better UX upgrades I’ve seen on an Aspire site. “Popular” shows you a huge slider of games that are actually trending among players rather than slots that studios want to push, and the same goes for the Hot Games. The New section is updated regularly, as well. So, you can always stop in to Red Casino when you know a new game has just dropped because it’s sure to be there in the lobby.
The Provider and Theme filters appear on mobile only, which is a little bit odd but, considering most casinos build their sites with a mobile-first approach, it’s not a bad thing. At least you have the ability to browse by Fishing, Ancient Egypt and Megaways games (plus lots of other filters) – which is more than I can say for many other sites out there.
In the progressive jackpots area, you’re looking mostly at Jackpot King games which are powered by Blueprint Gaming. It’s not a super diverse collection but, if you’re only going to have a handful of progressive providers, Blueprint is a good name to have in your arsenal simply because Jackpot King has several smaller prizes that pay out regularly plus the big headliner prizes worth hundreds of thousands of pounds that pay out once in a blue moon. On top of that, there’s a nice variety in format and themes, with progressive versions of Cash Strike, Diamond Mine and Fishin’ Frenzy.
In the live casino, Evolution and Pragmatic combine for a lobby that has about 150 tables. You can play all sorts of different roulette and blackjack variants, along with fun gameshows like Boom City, Gonzo’s Treasure Hunt and Crazy Time. These are two of the biggest names in the live casino world, so Red Casino is covering most of its bases here.
Red doesn’t just tick the “we’ve got blackjack and roulette” box; it’s alot more granular than that. The blackjack submenu has the classics along with niche titles like Vegas Downtown and Buster Blackjack, and the same goes for Roulette – where you’ll find Lightning and Mega Fire Blaze variants and even Namaste Roulette (an India-themed wheel complete with sitar soundtrack).
In the Slingo section, you’ve also got the classics like Monopoly and Deal or No Deal along with fresher hybrids such as Slingo Book of Slingo and Slingo Space Invaders. Plus, there are a couple of scratchcards that make for a nice change when you’re looking for something really low effort.
When it comes to bonuses, Red Casino tends to keep things minimal. Beyond the welcome bonus, you’ve only really got the Daily Free Spin Frenzy which awards you with 10 or more free spins depending on how much money you’ve wagered the day before (starting from £100).
One thing I will say, though – it’s a good idea to sign up to their marketing communications even if it’s just by email. They do send you the odd no deposit free spins offer; it’s only just for 5 spins at a time, but every little helps.
The range of payment methods is a big plus point at Aspire; there’s plenty to choose from and the minimum deposit is just £10. If you want to claim the welcome bonus, though, the minimum is £20. You can use instant bank transfers, debit cards, PayPal, Trustly, MuchBetter, Skrill and Paysafe Card.
When it comes to responsible gaming, I appreciate that Red Casino won’t let you bypass setting a deposit limit – they ask on first deposit and again if you ignore it. Reality checks default to 60 minutes but it’s easy to shorten if you want. Plus, cool-off and self-exclusion tools are front-and-centre in My Account.
Support hours run from 08:00 to 00:00 CET via live chat or e-mail. I’d love it if it were 24/7, but at least the agents don’t copy-paste canned replies. The support team were very friendly and helpful whenever I had a question.
The FAQs cover most basics, as well. So, if you have a simple query, you can normally just head to the help centre and troubleshoot for yourself.
Red Casino isn’t by any means reinventing the wheel, but it does smooth the bumps that usually make Aspire sites feel a bit more generic. The reorganised lobby means you can actually browse games instead of just scrolling through them. The limited selection of bonuses is a little bit disappointing but it’s worth sticking it out for the exclusive email promotions.
Overall, I’d say that Red Casino is mostly green flags. Its huge, well-arranged game lobby makes it a solid pick for players who are interested in exploring lots of different kinds of slot and live casino games. Definitely a standout amongst Aspire casinos!
35 x bonus on (non jackpot) slots, some games excluded
All Aspire Global casinos have the same Responsible Gambling policy laying out their safer gambling tools as well as featuring a self assessment questionnaire. As well as the usual deposit limits, players can set loss, wagering and session limits – or rather, ask a customer services operator to set them. Self exclusion applies to all Aspire Global brands not just Red Casino.
