Big Bingo Room Update At Dragonfish
-
Updated: 5th Aug 2024
At the end of October, a huge update was done in the Dragonfish bingo lobby, affecting every Dragonfish powered bingo site, not just the ones on the “Dragonfish network”. In fact, in a very real sense there IS no Dragonfish network any more.
It’s goodbye to the Chatterbox 90 ball room, to Bingo Roulette, to the Late Night Show and to all those weekly jackpot games with names like Terrific Tuesday and Wishful Thursday! All have vanished, and the main bingo rooms are now networked across EVERY bingo site on the Dragonfish software. In other words, sites like Wink Bingo, Costa Bingo, Robin Hood Bingo and Bonnie Bingo which all used to have different bingo rooms, have now got basically the SAME bingo rooms.
Here’s what the new lineup looks like:
- Top Of The Shop (aka Linked & Loaded 90) – a 90 ball room
- Flip It – a 90 ball room which is currently open from 4pm every day, running 5p games with a fixed prize fund of £35. Why the name? The prizes are backwards – it’s £20 for 1L, £10 for 2L and £5 for full house!
- Easy Peasy (aka Linked & Loaded 75) – a 5 line 75 ball room
- Red Carpet – a 75-24 bingo room. As well as running regular games it has a £1000 sliding jackpot which plays every hour on the hour.
- Bingo Deal aka Suit Up – the playing card themed version of the Dragonfish 52-5 bingo game
- Mystery Jackpot – this one’s familiar (and popular), it’s a 75-24 room where the prize is only announced after ticket sales close and just before the game starts
- Long Term Loyalty and Most Loyal – these two free rooms which were originally exclusive to 888Ladies are now available everywhere apart from at No Wagering sites. To gain entry, you need to have held an account for 6 months for Long Term Loyalty or 2 years for Most Loyal, and you also need to have made a deposit in the last 14 days.
That’s not to say that all Dragonfish bingo sites now have exactly the same rooms. They don’t. But apart from operator exclusives such as the Wacky Wings bingo room which is only found at Butterfly Bingo and sister sites, and No Wagering specials like Kaching and the Free4U room, the main difference as far as bingo rooms go is not between the “Dragonfish network” and other Dragonfish sites, it’s between the sites on what used to be called the United Bingo network and other Dragonfish sites. And currently, the United sites (which are mostly owned by Rank Digital Services or by Future plc) have the bigger choice of rooms. They have all of the rooms listed above, plus several others:
- Britain’s Got Bingo aka Penny Express – a 90 ball room
- Soap Party aka Gimme More – a 5 line 75 ball room
- Moonalicious aka Rockin’ 75 – a 75-24 sliding jackpot game that plays at 6pm daily
- SIX Free Spins Bingo rooms running daily games where you can win spins on various slot games
- The Biggie, the Grand, the Ultra and the Supreme – FOUR open access free bingo rooms running daily sliding jackpot games
- £777, Money Penny, Bingo X Multiplier and Self Made Millionaire – two daily and two monthly sliding jackpot specials
What about the rooms that the United sites DON’T have? There’s a few, but they are arguably not as good as the United lineup:
- Bounce’T aka Wonky aka the YOYO – another familiar 75-24 room. The prize changes with each ball call.
- Roller Coaster – a 75-24 sliding jackpot room
- WOW Free Spins – 5 games a week where you can win slot spins
- Some free rooms including the Bingo Academy newbie room and Grab A Fiver which has a prize fund of £5 bingo bonus
The United sites, then, represent the best choice of bingo rooms currently available at Dragonfish bingo sites. Here’s some of their best welcome offers:
