Christmas Bingo Promotions - Escalator Jackpots & More!
It’s that time of year when UK bingo and slot sites run an array of festive promotions. There’s any number of slots promotions going on for Christmas 2025 – leaderboards, prize draws, bonus games, stake and get, you name it, but the bingo promotions are not quite so easy to find. Here’s what our investigations turned up (and keep reading if you think the first few sound a bit puny – we saved the best till last):
Let’s start with the booby prize. Gamesys bingo sites don’t seem to be doing anything special in their bingo rooms this Christmas. But from here, it gets better:
Pragmatic Play Bingo Promotions
Two festive bingo rooms are running this Christmas across the Pragmatic Play network:
- Ho Ho Heavyweight – This 90 ball game plays at 9pm on Christmas day. Tickets are priced at 25p each and the prizes are £500 for 1L, £1500 for 2L and £3000 for FH.
- £12K of Christmas – These festive 90 ball games play from 8pm till 11pm every evening until Christmas Eve in a special bingo room and in the network 90 ball room; the £12K refers to the total amount by which prizes have been enhanced over the festive period. Randomly selected games have the Pick A Pic feature, in which all players pick one of 5 pictures for the chance to win a cash prize.
Dragonfish Bingo Promotions
Dragonfish also have two festive bingo rooms:
- Festive Friday – This 90 ball game plays at 9pm every Friday in December with a ticket price of 15p and a prize pool of £500.
- £3K New Year Jackpot – This 90 ball game plays on New Year’s Eve with a ticket price of 25p. The stated jackpot is £1500 and it’s not clear what the other prizes are.
Relax Gaming Bingo Promotions
Unibet and bingo.com have added a Christmas theme to one of their bingo rooms (a 5 line room where you buy tickets in strips of 3 for £1.50). Random bingo voucher prize drops worth up to £50 each (and £25,000 over the promo period) are taking place in this room every day until 28th December, from 8am till 11pm. The drop happens just before each game starts and they say each ticket has about a 1 in 250 chance of getting one.
Entain Bingo Promotions
Now we’re getting to the good stuff! The £155K Escalator Jackpots are running every evening from 19th – 31st December at Entain bingo sites.
- Head to the network 90 ball room to join in – at Gala Bingo, it’s called Big Games and at Foxy Bingo its called Foxy Fortunes. The number of calls within which full house has to be won for the jackpot to drop in this room is normally 32.
- On most days the promotion runs, the action starts at 6pm when the call number increases to 34. It then goes up by two each hour, increasing the chances of the jackpot dropping. If the jackpot hasn’t dropped by quarter to midnight, the call number goes to 90 ensuring that it will be won in the next game at 23:50.
- On Fridays, it’s a bit different because Entain already have a £30K network bingo promotion on Friday evenings, which ends at 10pm. A condensed version of the escalator jackpot promotion then runs, starting at five past ten and a call number of 37. It increases to 41 at 11pm and finishes as on the other days.
- The jackpot values vary from £5K to £30K, with the biggest pots on Saturday evenings. On the first day of the promotion it will start with whatever the current jackpot value is (the day before the promotion starts, that’s just short of £9K) or £5K in the unlikely event it drops shortly before the promotion starts.
The best bit of all? All of these jackpots are split 50/50 between the full house winner (or winners) and the rest of the tickets in the game.
Playtech Bingo Promotions
Guess what Christmas bingo promotion the Playtech bingo network is running? That’s right, they are running some escalator jackpots too (not a surprise as Playtech have been running these at Christmas since before the Entain bingo software was even a thing).
Every evening from 22nd December till 3rd January, there’s a guaranteed £40K jackpot to be won, with the action starting at 7pm and the promotion going on a Grand Tour of the most popular Playtech network rooms.
- From 22nd – 24th December the promotion runs in the Deal or No Deal 75 room, where the jackpot would normally drop when full house is won in 43 or fewer calls. At 7pm it goes to 44 calls and increases by one every half hour, reaching 51 calls at 10:30pm. If the jackpot hasn’t dropped previously, it’s guaranteed to be won in the final game at 10:55pm.
- The promotion moves to the network 90 ball room for 25th – 28th December. Here, the jackpot would normally drop when full house is won in 33 or fewer calls. This time, it goes to 34 at 7pm and goes up by one every 20 minutes, reaching 45 calls at 10:40pm. Again, if the jackpot hasn’t dropped previously, it’s guaranteed to be won in the final game at 10:55pm.
- For 29th – 31st December we return to 75 ball bingo, this time in the network 5 line room. Just as with the other 75 ball room, the call number is normally 43, starts at 44 at 7pm and goes up by one every half hour.
- The final leg of the promotion from 1st – 3rd January takes place in the Deal Or No Deal 90 room. Just as with the other 90 ball room, the call number is normally 33, starts at 34 at 7pm and goes up by one every 20 minutes.
And yes, these too are community jackpots, split 50/50 between the full house winner or winners and the tickets held by non winning players. Expect the room to go crazy from about 10pm onwards if the jackpot is still in play.
Playtech bingo sites with their hosted chat are also the best places to find Christmas themed bingo rooms.
- At Sky Bingo the Crimbo Bingo Room promises “festive fun throughout December” with various one day only promotions running.
- At Buzz Bingo there’s lots of seasonal mayhem going on in the Live Bingo Room including the Upside Down Jackpot promotion most evenings (in which the jackpot goes to the full house winner of the game that takes the most calls to bingo). The live room won’t run on Christmas Day though – Buzz have given their presenters the day off and quite right too.
Christmas Slot Games
This year’s highest profile Christmas slot game release is Big Bass Christmas Frozen Lake, a high volatility thriller which has the Big Bass fisherman dressed up as Santa Claus. It’s included in the Sweet Holiday Chase Pragmatic Play network promotion along with Santa’s Slay, Sweet Bonanza Xmas, Christmas Carol Megaways and other festive slots.. You might want to shop around though, as it’s one of those games with a variable Return To Player and can have RTP of 92.07%, 94.07% or 96.07% depending on where you play it. At the time of writing, bet365 has the highest rate of 96.07%.
