Bingo Beats, A New Game at Gala Bingo

-
Updated: 14th Aug 2024
Bingo Beats is a new bingo game at Gala Bingo, based on the Virtue Fusion 50 ball bingo engine that also powers games at other bingo sites such as Emoji Bingo at Mecca and Mystic Meg Bingo at Sun, and reminiscent of Tombola‘s perennially popular Pulse game. The numbers appear in floating bubbles with a beating heart mid screen pumping out the calls (but you can choose to show them as a regular bingo ticket if you prefer).
What’s instantly attractive about Bingo Beats is that it is a single ticket multi stake game. Allowing just one ticket per player has two big advantages:
- Everyone has an equal chance of winning (if you stake more, the prize you win will be bigger as they are multiples of stake)
- It’s much easier to buy tickets and follow the game on a mobile device.
In the case of Bingo Beats, Gala have gone MUCH further to make the game as fair and player friendly as possible. It’s not just running in one room, but has been launched in 4, offering a huge choice of possible stake levels to suit all pockets:
- Thrill – 2p, 4p, 10p, 16p
- Thud – 5p, 10p, 20p, 25p
- Thump – 10p, 20p, 80p, £1
- Flutter – 10p, 20p, £1, £2
We surmise that Gala are trying out lots of different stake and prize combinations to see which are most popular, so expect this to change at some point after the launch promotion finishes.
The room jackpots are the same for all games – £1500 for bingo in 15 calls and £100 for bingo in 18 calls.
Right now the rooms are restricted to a maximum of 50 players per game (stopping the chance of winning from getting too small) and ticket sales close once 50 tickets have been sold. We’ve seen this happen in one of the rooms but there was still space in the others. Again, this is clearly an experimental feature which may not be retained.
The Bingo Beats launch promotion runs until 10th December and until then all rooms are as above and have guaranteed prizes. The Bingo Beats promotion also includes £10K Fridays, running in the Flutter Room from 9pm until just before 10pm every Friday during the promo period. Each of the 10 games has prizes as follows:
- £2 stake – £1000
- £1 stake – £500
- 20p stake – £100
- 10p stake – £50
The regular Bingo Beats rooms will not run games at this time and for around 10 minutes before and afterwards and presumably there won’t be a maximum number of players.
Have you tried Bingo Beats yet? We’d love to know what you think of it!

…and now there’s just two rooms, Chakra (formerly known as Thrill) and Love (formerly known as Flutter) and the player limit has been raised to 70 in both
Prize money reduced and room hours cut after just 24 hours.
But then the games were breaching GVC’s 1st commandment this morning.
‘Thou shall not win.’
Thrill and Flutter were open this morning; currently the minimum prizes in Thrill are 20x stake and the minimum prizes in Flutter are 25x stake. Thud and Thump are now open from noon to midnight with minimum prizes of 30x stake. The minimum prizes change depending on the time of day and we expect the opening hours to continue to be adjusted based on demand.
