Pragmatic Play Bingo Sites
Pragmatic Play bingo is very much the new kid on the bingo block. Rather than being a gaming platform like Dragonfish, Pragmatic Play bingo is purely a bingo product which is supplied as a plugin alongside Pragmatic Play slot games (many of which appear as mini games inside the bingo lobby). This means that pretty well any type of iGaming site can get Pragmatic Play bingo, and hundreds of them have done just that, though often without a bingo welcome offer.
Who are Pragmatic Play?
Pragmatic Play in its current form is a relative newcomer to iGaming. The company was formed in 2015 (it may or may not have a connection with Topgame Technology, some of whose assets it acquired) and was granted a UK licence in April 2017; the same year they won Software Rising Star at the 2017 EGR B2B awards, plus three awards at the Malta iGaming Excellence awards. Well known Pragmatic Play slots include Leprechaun Song, Wolf Gold, Sweet Bonanza, Big Bass Bonanza and Chilli Heat. Their slot games are also known for their generally high volatility. Pragmatic Play regularly run slot tournaments (“Drops & Wins”) with all the admin handled at their end rather than via the casino’s promotions page, making it super easy for players to participate.
The Pragmatic Play Bingo Product
The Pragmatic Play bingo product was first demoed at the giant iGaming trade show ICE London back in February 2018 but it wasn’t until a year later that it went live – and that was a soft launch with just one operator. The delay appears to have been partly due to the length of time it currently takes to get a UK Gambling Commission licence (or in Pragmatic Play’s case, to extend their licence to cover remote bingo in addition to their other products) and partly due to a desire to ensure that the product was 100% ready and properly tested before going live.
The bingo lobby works on all devices and initially included rooms with 90 ball, 75 ball, and 80 ball bingo. There’s also a speed bingo game called Bingo Blast and several jackpot games, and 30 ball bingo made an appearance in early 2021. A more recent addition to the Pragmatic Play line-up is Diamond Dazzle, a 90 ball bingo game that is clearly modelled on Deal or No Deal Bingo, and in 2024 the 50 ball game Animingo was added to the lineup. Each room has chat (at times this is automated and it is not available at all sites) and a selection of Pragmatic Play and other mini games. Unlike bingo platforms such as Dragonfish, Pragmatic Play bingo has fully featured pre-buy for every game and not just for 7 days ahead of time either – you can purchase tickets for up to a month in advance.
As bingo products go, it’s pretty good, but at the start it didn’t have as much liquidity as some other platforms (it certainly does now!). The prizes were always worthwhile, though, and they ran a series of fun promotions early on including a weekly £1000 free bingo game and the 12 Days of Christmas jackpot games. Monthly specials are still a feature in 2025 and invariably attract large numbers of players.
Pragmatic Play Bingo – Early Adopters
After a trial at The Palaces, in summer 2019 the Pragmatic Play bingo product started to be added at Grace Media casinos (which were at that point still called Nektan). This network of white label sites was an ideal candidate for the new bingo product; after a rocky start with a few mobile phone casinos only featuring their own proprietary games, Nektan had quickly evolved into a casino platform suitable for play on all devices and featuring slot games from a wide range of other providers as well as their own. By the time the Pragmatic Play bingo product came along there were more than 100 Nektan white label casinos for UK players to choose from; their approach was to offer a curated selection of the best and most popular games from each provider rather than the entire catalogue so if you tried a game you hadn’t tried before at a Nektan site, it was unlikely to be a dud.
Not all Nektan sites added the bingo product, and not all of the ones that added the bingo product also added a bingo welcome offer, but it was enough to kick-start the liquidity.
Fast forward to 2022 and quite a few things had changed with this particular group of sites. For a start, due to various issues the licence was now held by Grace Media (Gibraltar) Limited and even the underlying platform didn’t have the name Nektan any more (it’s now called Markor Technology). Following the introduction of a new lobby, many sites which previously had bingo dropped it in order to concentrate on slots. The bingo had been made more prominent at the sites which still had it – BOGOF Bingo for example – but there was no sense of community as (following the example of Jumpman, below) the chat had been completely removed from the bingo rooms. In 2025, there are hardly any of these sites left in operation, but some new ones including Chit Chat Bingo have moved over from other bingo software.
The Growing Pragmatic Play Network
In spring 2020 the liquidity of the Pragmatic Play bingo network took a giant step forward when over 100 Jumpman Gaming sites replaced their proprietary bingo product with the Pragmatic Play rooms. Jumpman don’t give out bingo bonuses (all of their offers and promotions are slots focused) but plenty of Jumpman players want to play bingo and just like players from The Palaces (PL) they have a special suffix on their usernames (JG). Jumpman even had an exclusive bingo game on Friday evenings with substantial cash prizes (it’s now been discontinued). What they don’t have, though, is any chat in the bingo rooms – it’s been disabled. So not the place to play if you like to talk!
Later additions to the Pragmatic Play bingo network have been even more exciting. There’s the No Wagering site PlayOJO, where player promotions are second to none. The Pragmatic Play bingo implementation there includes a number of exclusive bingo rooms; Masked Singer Bingo is one of them. More recently, the migration of the long established Heart Bingo to Pragmatic Play heralded another set of exclusive bingo rooms and promotions – and then there was a very high profile defection from Virtue Fusion to Pragmatic in the form of bet365.
The Pragmatic bingo product has also replaced the Microgaming bingo product at Broadway Gaming sites such as Rosy Bingo, and the Bede bingo product at Leo Vegas and sister sites. In both these instances there’s some degree of customisation and an exclusive bingo room.
More recently still, Playbook powered casinos such as NRG Bet have added Pragmatic Play bingo.
Are they done yet in their quest for world domination? Apparently not! Even more sites are rumoured to be getting Pragmatic Play bingo in 2025, sending the liquidity even higher….
