Vegas Moose

IMPORTANT – Vegas Moose went offline due to the surrender of its licence. It’s now back as a Jumpman site and they are not interested in promoting it.

About Vegas Moose

Vegas Moose is a newish venture from Alderney based Small Screen Casinos Ltd, who have been specialising in casinos designed for mobile phones since the early days of the iPhone.  It cleverly combines many of the elements of a social casino with those of a real money casino, all presided over by a grinning moose in shades, and unsurprisingly they are very active on social media.

Getting Started At Vegas Moose

One thing to be aware of before you sign up at Vegas Moose is that you can only claim one welcome offer at Small Screen Casinos Ltd, so if you’ve already played at one of their other sites (The Phone Casino, for instance) you won’t qualify.

You also need a mobile phone, not because the site is designed for play on a mobile (it is, but you can also play on a computer screen), but because you’ll be sent a text message as part of the account verification procedure.

It’s also likely that you’ll have to send them some documents to prove your identity and address to complete verification (but can start playing without doing so).

Bingo Games at Vegas Moose

Vegas Moose has a great lineup of Pragmatic Play network bingo rooms (but without any chat).  As well as 90, 75, 80 and 30 ball rooms there’s daily and weekly jackpots and whatever seasonal special the network currently has running.  You can also win slot spins in the Reels Room and try out the Pragmatic Play exclusive bingo games Bingo Blast (a fast paced 90 ball game), Diamond Dazzle (which is similar to Deal Or No Deal Bingo) and Animingo (a 50 ball game with cute animals instead of numbers).  As always with Pragmatic Play you can buy tickets up to 28 days in advance.

Slot Games At Brand

A massive selection of more than 2500 slot games awaits you in the slots part of the Vegas Moose lobby.

There’s a carousel of the newest games at the top, and after that every game in alphabetical order.  This extremely long list can be narrowed down by using the “Filters & Sorting” tool.  You can filter by game provider, which is extremely useful as Vegas Moose work with more than 50 different providers, but not particularly innovative. What IS innovative is the ability to filter by game category; you choose the categories from a drop down list and they include themes (e.g. Halloween, Dragons), game mechanics (e.g. Megaways, Wins both ways) and bonus features (e.g. Walking Wilds, Multipliers).  You can combine both filters, so for example you can find all of the Megaways games by Blueprint. You can also change the display of the results so that instead of being shown alphabetically (A-Z or Z-A) they are shown in order of volatility (either with the most volatile games first or with the least volatile games first).

You can also search for games by name – a search for Big Bass reveals that they have nearly 20 of those games!

To find out the RTP of slot games you need to open the game and check in the help files but we can report that in the case of games with a variable RTP it was set near the top of the range (checked in October 2024).

If you are a fan of progressive jackpot slots you will enjoy the mix of familiar Eyecon jackpot slots with many that you may not have come across before.

Going beyond slots, other games that you can play at Vegas Moose include more than 100 different scratchcards and more than 60 versions of Slingo plus keno, Plinko, video bingo, lotto style games such as Epic Gems and crash games including Aviator, Maverick, Spaceman and Big Bass Crash.

The Live Casino at Vegas Moose has roulette, blackjack, baccarat and a selection of game shows by Pragmatic Play including Sweet Bonanza Candyland.

Other Considerations

But what about the elements of social casino I mentioned earlier?

Well, one of the big selling points at Vegas Moose is their daily free to enter slot tournament which they usually describe as “100 Free Spins”.  You do indeed get two lots of 50 spins every day on one of their exclusive slot games with no deposit required, but they are not real money spins.  Instead, you score points and are placed on the day’s leaderboard. The highest scoring players win cash or free spins, and you can also win spot prizes of real money spins on Pragmatic Play games.

Although no deposit is required to participate, you’ll be given the opportunity to collect more entries to the tournament by making a deposit.

Vegas Moose has many other deposit based promotions awarding free spins on various slot games and (just as in the welcome offer) the rewards are free of wagering requirements but you’ll need to play your deposit through 2 or 3 times to collect them.  You can find all of your current deposit offers on the Offers page while logged in. Although Vegas Moose offers a number of different ways of making a deposit, it is worth noting that normally only debit card and bank transfer deposits can be used to claim deposit offers.

Final Thoughts

If you’re looking for a phone based real money casino that’s as fun to play at as a social casino, Vegas Moose with its huge selection of slots and other games and its daily tournament very much hits the mark.
