About O’Reels

O’Reels has been around for a few years and you may have come across it previously as a Progress Play casino with fun Irish theming.  That incarnation of the casino closed in December 2023 and it’s now back on a different platform, Grace Media.  We understand that the casino has also changed hands.

As is usual with this type of platform migration, the player base hasn’t transferred across.  So you can sign up and collect the welcome offer at the new version of O’Reels even if you’ve played there in the past.

Games At O’Reels

The selection of slots at O’Reels combines old favourites such as Book of Dead, Fishin’ Frenzy, Rainbow Riches, Big Bass Bonanza, Fluffy Favourites and their sequels with plenty of new releases from lots of different providers.  Indeed, of the older games only the popular ones remain on site as Grace Media seem to have a policy of aggressively pruning games that are not much played; this means that any game you try from the back catalogue has likely had the thumbs up from plenty of players.

What O’Reels doesn’t have is any progressive jackpot slots; no Grace Media casinos have them.

To find slot games you want to play you can either browse through the various lobby categories (including All Games which has everything in alphabetical order) or use the search box which brings up some results after you’ve typed in just one character and full results after you’ve typed in 3 characters. You can also filter and browse by game provider.

As the name suggests, O’Reels very much concentrates on slot games and there’s only a small selection of other types of game, comprising

• Scratchcards and Lucky Tap games in the Instant Win lobby area, but when we visited there were just 8 of these
• Blackjack and roulette in the Table Games area – again, a very small collection
• Live roulette and Teen Patti by Ezugi.  These are the only live casino games on O’Reels at the time of writing (May 2024).

That’s it.  There’s no Slingo and no crash games that we could find.

On the whole, the range of games is nowhere near as good as it was when O’Reels was on Progress Play.  HOWEVER, slot game Return To Player (again at the time of writing) is set a bit higher at Grace Media than it is at Progress Play.

To check slot game RTP, you’ll need to look in the game help files.  It’s not shown in the lobby.

Other Considerations

O’Reels has a promotions page which is run by the network.  Apart from the welcome offer and the Drops & Wins promotion from Pragmatic Play that you’ll find at the majority of online casinos, when we visited in May 2024 there was just one promotion, a daily wheel spin game for recent depositors.  Like all Grace Media promotions, it had a maximum conversion as well as a wagering requirement for the spins you could win on the wheel.

Mobile and tablet play is done by visiting the O’Reels site via a mobile browser (there’s no app).  The latest version of the Grace Media lobby has been optimised to work well on mobile devices.

Final Thoughts

The lack of progressive jackpots and restricted range of payment options and live casino games will be a deal breaker for some.  If you’re not bothered about any of those things and would like to try a Grace Media casino, O’Reels has the major advantage that its welcome bonus can be used on most slot games rather than on a restricted range as at other Grace Media sites.
