O’Reels has moved to the new version of the Betable platform for 2025 (it was previously a Grace Media casino).
O’Reels has been around for a few years and you may have come across it previously as a Progress Play casino with fun Irish theming, or more recently as a Grace Media casino. The Progress Play incarnation of the casino closed in December 2023 and as is usual with that type of platform migration, the player base didn’t transfer across. So you can sign up and collect the welcome offer at the new version of O’Reels even if you’ve played at the Progress Play version.
The Grace Media to Betable migration works a little differently as although the operator is now Betable, the gambling software is still powered by Grace Media in an arrangement identical to that at Ivy Casino. At least for the time being, the selection of games and navigation at O’Reels is vastly superior to that at regular Grace Media casinos.
The registration form at O’Reels is all on one screen, so much more user friendly than the multi part forms you’ll find at other online casinos. Simply fill in your name, address, phone number and date of birth, set a password, tick to accept the site terms and conditions and privacy policy and opt into receiving whatever marketing messaging you’d like.
You then have the option to make a deposit and claim the welcome offer. However, you should be aware that you won’t receive the deposit match immediately; it’s released as a cash reward AFTER you’ve completed the wagering requirements by playing through your deposit 30x. You can deposit more money or make withdrawals before completing the playthrough without affecting your bonus, but you do need to complete the playthrough within the 28 day time limit.
The new version of O’Reels has an attractive Irish themed lobby in shades of green, including an area for Irish Slots.
The game provider that’s most prominent in the lobby is Pragmatic Play (there’s a lobby area just for their Drops & Wins promotion) but they work with several others including Inspired, Blueprint, Big Time Gaming, Eyecon, Slingo Originals, 4The Player and Relax Gaming. As well as popular and well known titles like the Big Bass games, Wolf Gold, Temple Tumble Megaways, Eye of Horus, Fishin’ Frenzy, Fluffy and so on, there’s plenty of less well known games to explore. Lobster Bob’s Seafood & Win It? Monster Superlanche? 5 Frozen Charms Megaways? Paddy O’Plunder? Running Sushi? Royal Potato 1 and 2? You can find them all here!
Many of the game tiles have a pop up infomation panel that shows the provider, Return To Player, number of reels and paylines and other information about the gameplay. Plus, there’s a search box where you can search for games by name (and allegedly for game providers but this does not appear to be working currently).
What O’Reels doesn’t have is any progressive jackpot slots, but this is not new as it didn’t have them on Grace Media either. Also – as you might expect from the name – it is almost entirely slots focused. They do have around 60 Slingo games in a lobby area of their own, but apart from that there’s just a few RNG table games and some Lucky Tap instant win games all jumbled up with the slots in the All Games lobby area. There’s no live casino games whatsoever and no crash games that I could find.
The new Betable version on O’Reels has a Promotions page but when I visited shortly after the relaunch all that was on it apart from the welcome offer was two Pragmatic Play network promotions. We expect any redeposit offers to have the same approach to wagering requirements as the welcome offer – complete them by playing with your deposit then get your reard in cash.
Customer support looks good. The main menu has a Help section where you can deposit, withdraw, contact them via email or live chat and/or check out the comprehensive FAQ. There’s also an Information section where you can easily find the site terms and conditions, info about safer gambling and fair play and so on.
The range of payment methods is OK; there’s a charge for withdrawals but it’s easily avoided (just make sure you withdraw £30 or more).
Mobile and tablet play is done by visiting the O’Reels site via a mobile browser. There’s no app, but the Betable lobby has clearly been optimised for us on mobile devices.
The lack of progressive jackpots and live casino games will be a deal breaker for some, but if you’re mainly interested in slots and Slingo you’ll definitely want to check out O’Reels for its refreshing approach to wagering requirements and interesting selection of slot games.
Deposit must be wagered 30x to release welcome bonus cash. Deposits and withdrawals can be made without affecting it.
The Responsible Gambling page which is linked from the Information section of the main menu is short and to the point – it enables players to take a time out or self exclusion via direct links.
There’s also a longer Safer Gambling page that goes into detail about the safer gambling tools they offer (the standard deposit limits, reality check, cooling-off and self-exclusion) and also how to check your account history. It also includes links to outside sources of advice and help.
