After years as a Dragonfish powered slot site, Jazzy Spins has moved to Progress Play for summer 2024.
Jazzy Spins was originally an 888 brand that made its debut in 2019. It remained on the Dragonfish platform until May 2024 at which point the agreement with Dragonfish owners Broadway Gaming came to an end. The site has now moved to Progress Play but the player base hasn’t automatically transferred so if you had an account there previously you’ll need to sign up again. The good news is that you’ll be able to claim the welcome offer even if you did have an account at the Dragonfish version, unless you’ve already claimed the maximum of 5 casino welcome offers at Progress Play sites.
The move to Progress Play has resulted in there being a much bigger range of slot games available, and the addition of roulette, blackjack, baccarat and game shows by Evolution and Playtech (the Dragonfish version didn’t have any live casino games at all) is another piece of good news for those who like that kind of thing.
Rather less welcome changes come in the form of higher wagering requirements and charges for withdrawals but on the whole, the move looks very much like being an improvement.
There are hundreds of slots that you can choose between at Jazzy Spins, and new games are frequently added to extend your options (and if you played at the Dragonfish version of the site you’ll be delighted to hear that at Progress Play, new really does mean new with the latest hot releases added soon after they come out). The main software providers include Microgaming, SG, Blueprint, Playtech, PlayNGo, NetEnt and Pragmatic Play and there are more than 50 others.
Jazzy Spins is owned by the same organisation as Chit Chat Bingo (which has also recently moved off Dragonfish) and they also run a string of other Progress Play casinos. The Progress Play platform is regulated and licensed by the UK Gambling Commission under account number 39335. Jazzy Spins promotes responsible gambling and is a member of GAMSTOP.
The site is nicely laid out and presented in white on a soothing navy background with some eye-catching red and green buttons. The game tiles appear in portrait mode on a white insert for maximum usability on a mobile phone. The homepage shows you a selection of the games that you can play, including the latest additions to the lobby, and lets you toggle between the casino and the live casino. The side menu helps you navigate to other parts of the site such as the Promotions page
You can spin to your heart’s content at Jazzy Spins. Most games have free demo versions for logged in players and you can also use the little heart icon on the game tiles to save games to Favourites. The many popular games here include Big Bass Bonanza (and any number of sequels), Book of Dead, 9 Pots of Gold, Starburst, Immortal Romance, Gonzo’s Quest (original and Megaways), Reactoonz, Rainbow Riches, Stampede, Bonanza and many others. The magnifying glass icon lets you search for your favourite games, or alternatively you can either filter by games provider or use the Slots tab in the lobby to browse through everything.
Progressive jackpots include Eyecon Super and Mega Jackpots, Age of the Gods and Red Tiger daily jackpots.
Jazzy Spins has a different selection of promotions to most other Progress Play sites, concentrating on redeposit offers (for spins and/or slot bonus) and not including the usual cashback offers or leaderboards. When we visited, there were no fewer than four redeposit offers that could be claimed on different days of the week, every week for a month.
You can play games at Jazzy Spins on most mobile devices even though there isn’t an official app. The site is designed using HTML5 so that it automatically adapts to fit your screen. As the games are all web-based, they are enjoyable to play and many of the slots come with custom buttons for mobile players that allow the game rather than the player controls to occupy more of the screen.
You can quickly sign up or log in using the buttons at the top-right of the site while the dropdown menu lets you browse other pages such as Promotions, About Us, and Support.
The Progress Play version of Jazzy Spins has a much better range of payment methods than the Dragonfish version had, including Paysafecard, Neosurf and mobile phone billing.
Jazzy Spins has always been a well run slot site and the move to Progress Play has endowed it with a much bigger and better selection of games, plus there’s that very generous new welcome offer. The only thing it’s lacking that some other Progress Play sites have is a sportsbook.
