Deal Or No Deal is a new for 2024 Jumpman slots site themed on the perennially popular TV show. It also has bingo rooms courtesy of Pragmatic Play.
The history of the Deal Or No Deal website is quite interesting. For more than 15 years it was the official news and info site of the TV show, changing from that in Spring 2023 to a single page where you could apply to be on the new series. That functionality has now moved to dealornodealtv.co.uk leaving the original site to become an online casino.
This may seem a bit weird, but after all Deal Or No Deal is essentially a gambling game so there’s lots of synergy. Nor is it the first time that the Deal Or No Deal brand has been officially associated with a gambling site, although both those sites (Deal Or No Deal Bingo and Deal Or No Deal Casino) closed a few years ago.
The branding on the home page of Deal Or No Deal is stunning, making copious use of the iconic red boxes and featuring a collection of official Deal Or No Deal slot games. Once you stray off the home page, however, it’s rather less effective. For example, you’d surely expect the welcome offer at this site to be “open the red box to win up to 500 spins” but it’s not – a visit to the promotions page reveals it to be the usual Mega Reel, with the spins you can win being for Big Bass Splash rather than for a Deal Or No Deal slot game.
The Jumpman registration process is quick and easy and if you have a PayPal account and are happy to make a deposit straight away, you can skip part of it by logging in with PayPal. Your details – and the deposit – will be pulled in from your PayPal account so there’s no need to type in your address and so on. You’ll still have to pick a username and password, accept the terms and conditions, choose what marketing messages to opt into and so forth.
Once you’ve located the bingo rooms in the lobby (they aren’t immediately obvious as the tab they are in is off screen to start with) you will find that Deal Or No Deal has the same bingo setup as other Jumpman sites – widely networked Pragmatic Play bingo rooms with plenty of liquidity but no chat and no exclusives. There’s 90 ball, 75 ball, 30 ball and 80 ball rooms plus specials like Animingo and Bingo Blast.
Has it got Deal Or No Deal Bingo though? Well…it has and it hasn’t. Has, because the Pragmatic Play bingo game Diamond Dazzle plays just like it. Hasn’t, because there’s no Deal Or No Deal branding. Instead of gambling on the contents of a red box or gold briefcase, you gamble on the valuation of a diamond.
Deal Or No Deal has around 50 instant win games in the Scratchcards part of the lobby, and the live casino games in the Table Games part of the lobby include roulette, blackjack, live slots and gameshows (but not any of the Deal Or No Deal themed ones). Its real strength, however, is slots.
Jumpman have spent the last few years building up a really good and varied library of slot games, working with more and more game providers as time goes on. All are presented in a simple tabbed lobby that’s clearly been designed for mobile usability as there’s no information about each game apart from the game tile itself. If you want to know about RTP, volatility, numbers of paylines, bonus features or the size of a progressive jackpot you’ll need to load the game up and check the in-game help files.
Many players will be content to choose games from the frequently updated Newest tab and/or the Hot Slots tab which contains the most popular games, especially as any game you’ve played is automatically saved in “My Faves” so it’s easy to find again. You can also take a look in the Casino tab which is where they keep all the Playtech slot games. If you want to look further afield, you can use the search box to look for games by name or browse through all of the games (of all types, not just slots) in the alphabetically arranged A-Z tab. Though that could take a while, as you’ll be more than 120 games into this list before even reaching letter A!
With such a massive number of games to choose from you would hope to see a good range of progressive jackpots but that’s not so great; there’s a couple of games by Yggdrasil and the rest are by Eyecon including several different Fluffy games.
Deal Or No Deal offers a good range of payment methods but one of them (mobile phone billing) is extremely expensive to use and you’ll also pay a fee for all withdrawals by whatever method.
Promotions at Deal Or No Deal are run by the Jumpman network; they run quite a few prize draws but there’s typically just a few prizes to be won across the whole Jumpman network of more than 100 sites. The promo page always has several redeposit offers on it, all based round the Mega Reel, and you can also expect to be sent Mega Reel offers which are valid for one day only via whatever communications channels you opted into when you signed up.
The Deal Or No Deal branding does look very snazzy but under the skin this is just another Jumpman site. If you want a fuss free way to play slots on your phone and enjoy the spin the wheel type of deposit offer that is quite literally a gamble in itself, you’ll like it. If you prefer to see more information about the games in the lobby, or like to know exactly what you’re going to get before you make a deposit, you won’t.
The Jumpman Responsible Gaming policy, which is linked from the site footer, is concise but includes the necessary links to Gamcare etc, a self assessment questionnaire and a brief explanation of the mandated safer gambling tools (deposit limits, reality check, take a break and self exclusion). There’s a direct link for logged in players to set deposit limits and there’s further information about self exclusion in the terms and conditions.
