36Vegas is a UK facing casino and sports betting site on a new, independent licence.
36Vegas (pronounced “threesix vegas” not “thirty-six vegas”) is operated by newcomer to the scene 36Gaming Limited, a very British operation whose head office is in Wolverhampton. Their UKGC licence which was granted in May 2025 covers remote casino, bingo and betting on real and virtual events and they have just the one site, so although 36Vegas runs on the familiar Playbook platform it’s a proper standalone as far as the licence is concerned.
You might do a double take when you arrive on the site after clicking or tapping on our link, because at first glance it looks like you’ve gone to a sports offer. Keep reading though – there’s actually a choice of offers and you can pick either sports or casino. Just be sure to use the right deposit code and play through your deposit on the correct product.
The registration process starts off very quick and easy BUT in order to complete it (and before you can login or deposit) you will almost certainly need to verify your identity by sending in or uploading ID documents together with a selfie holding the ID.. This is fairly par for the course at UKGC licensed casinos but it’s unusual to have to do it at quite such an early stage.
The 36Vegas sportsbook has different areas for regular betting and for in-play (which is available on football and a number of other ball sports). The main sportsbook is pretty impressive; a very wide range of sports is covered with everything from football and horse racing to niche markets like floorball, speedway and water polo. Features include early cashout, bet builder functionality on live and prelive football and best odds guaranteed on bets placed after 10am on UK and Irish horse racing.
There is what looks like a whole esports lobby on the top menu but it’s a bit of a fudge as the link just goes to the esports section of the sportsbook. It’s still impressive though, with Counter-Strike, DOTA 2, FIFA, Valorant and LOL amongst the markets covered.
The Virtual Sports provision is excellent, with around 20 games to choose from; they are mostly virtual football and horse racing.
When you first look at the slots lobby at 36Vegas you’ll see wall to wall Pragmatic Play slot games, but in fact less than half of the games are by Pragmatic Play and they work with several other game providers as well including Elk, G Game, Hacksaw, Boldplay, Synot, Booming Games, Thunderkick and Fantasma which makes for a great mix of the familiar with the not so familiar. The lobby sections include “Big Bass Collection” and “Megaways” and there’s also an area for games which are included in Pragmatic Play’s Drops & Wins promotion plus a great little section called “PennyWorld” for low stake slot games and 10p roulette. One thing which you will notice is missing is an area for progressive jackpots, and that’s because there aren’t any of those at 36Vegas.
Non slot games include RNG roulette, blackjack and other card games as well as an instant win games section with around 60 games (largely scratchcards).
As I mentioned earlier, 36Gaming has a remote bingo licence so it’s very possible multiplayer bingo might be added to the site in the future (if it is, we’d expect it to be the Pragmatic Play bingo product as at other sites on the Playbook platform). In the meantime, there are some video bingo games to enjoy in the instant win games section.
You can see all 1500+ games in the “All Games” lobby tab but you may not notice this immediately as it’s off screen and you have to scroll sideways to see it. Despite having such a large number of game tiles, this part of the lobby is actually very useful as you can sort the games in alphabetical order, by age or by popularity and you can also filter by provider (indeed, you can sort and filter in any of the lobby areas).
The other way to find games is the search box, which displays results as soon as you’ve typed in just two characters. The results are all exact matches – search for “pir” and you’ll get games whose names contain “pirate”, “vampire” or “spirit” as well as Elk’s Pirots series of slot games.
The live casino at 36vegas is by Pragmatic Play and again there is more to it than first meets the eye. The game tiles are mostly for live roulette, live baccarat and more than 60 live blackjack table, but look closely in “Other Live Casino” and you’ll spot the Game Shows Lobby tile which takes you to Pragmatic Play’s own lobby with access to games like Mega Ball and Sweet Bonanza Wonderland.
Customer service at 36vegas is delivered by live chat (if logged in) or via email and I found it to be both prompt and polite; they took less than half an hour to reply to my email and I dealt with a named, helpful person.
The Promotions page at the time of my visit was largely sports focused, with just the casino welcome offer and Drops & Wins aimed at slots players. You can also expect to receive offers via whatever marketing channel you opted into when you registered.
Payments is perhaps the weakest area at 36vegas; debit card is the only deposit method accepted.
It’s always great to see a new and truly independent UK facing casino launched, and this one has a nice easy to use lobby and a good range of games. For those not put off by the robust account verification procedure and restricted payment methods, 36Vegas provides a real alternative to the big bookies.
