Paddy's Mansion Heist, A New Live Game

Updated: 16th Aug 2024
Paddy’s Mansion Heist is a Playtech live casino game show that is exclusive to Paddy Power and was launched in June 2024.
A True Exclusive
Operator branded exclusive games are not a new idea and indeed, Paddy Power already has several, but they normally are not true exclusives:
- Games like Branded Megaways and Branded Slingo are available to any operator that wants to pay to have their own branding put on the generic game
- Games that are exclusive to one operator often end up being so for a limited period only
- Exclusive operator branded games are very often a simple reskin of some other widely available game
Paddy’s Full House, for example, was created by Eyecon as an exclusive with Paddy Power branding, but not only was it a clever reskin of Fluffy Favourites, it was subsequently made widely available minus the Paddy Power branding as My Bingo Hall.
Paddy’s Mansion Heist, on the other hand, is a true exclusive created as a collaboration between Paddy Power and Playtech. The bonus rounds are unique and the custom designed studio is packed with Paddy Power theming. The walls are painted Paddy Power green and there’s Paddy Power lanyards, a dartboard with Paddy Power branded darts, a statue wearing Paddy Power lucky pants and many other lovely little touches.
How To Play
To start playing, place a chip or chips on any or all of the 8 options corresponding to the 8 types of wheel segment (use the Bet On All button to place a chip on each option). The available chip sizes start at 10p, and the 8 options are 1x, 2x, 5x, 10x multipliers and 4 different bonus rounds. The dealer then spins the wheel and if it lands on a segment you placed a bet on, you’ll win that multiple of your stake or play the bonus round with that stake.
Just to make it a bit more exciting, after bets are closed but before the wheel spin is resolved, a small golden safe sometimes appears to award extra multipliers to one or more of the 8 options.
You know those irritating live casino gameshows where you have to wait for what seems like hours for the bonus round? Paddy’s Mansion Heist is definitely NOT one of those – bonus rounds come up fairly often, especially Mansion Map and Roulette Robbery. Here’s how the bonus rounds work:
- Mansion Map – this bonus round is played on a map of the mansion. Each of the 6 rooms has a multiplier (x12, x15,x20,x25,x30 and x50) . You choose one of the rooms to steal a prize from and the guards then search all the rooms, reducing the multiplier in any rooms where they catch someone to x5. It’s a pick your own volatility round; the higher the original multiplier, the more likely it is to get reduced to x5. If you don’t pick a room in time, you’ll be assigned to the lowest volatility room, the one with the x12 multiplier.
- Roulette Robbery – this bonus round is played on a roulette wheel and just as in Mansion Map, you’re guaranteed to win at least 5x stake. Red is assigned a multiplier and black another (usually 5x and 10x, sometimes more). Green (zero) always has 100x multiplier. Three red numbers and three black numbers are assigned an extra 2x or 3x multiplier. The roulette wheel is then spun and you win the stake multiplier for whatever number the ball lands on.
- Gallery Gamble – in this bonus round, you choose a painting from the array of 9 (all Paddy Power themed, of course). 8 of the paintings award multipliers of 5x up to 50x. The final painting is the masterpiece; it doesn’t have a multiplier of its own but instead awards all the prizes from one or more lines of three of the other paintings.
- The Vault – this is the bonus round where you can win the biggest prize. You start by choosing from 4 pressure pads to step on at each of the 5 steps approaching the vault. Under each pressure pad is a multiplier prize and some of them also have golden keys; once you’ve chosen your 5 pads (or had a random choice made for you if you didn’t choose in time) the prizes are revealed. From step 3 onwards there’s an increasing chance you will land on a trap, ending the round and exiting with the prizes you’ve landed on so far, so after steps 1 and 2 are revealed there’s a brief pause offering you the option to make a Quick Getaway with an extra prize instead of completing the round. If you make it through all 5 steps, you reach the vault – but to open it and collect the maximum 400x multiplier win from the round you’ll need all 5 golden keys. If you have 4 of the 5 keys, the vault won’t open for you but you’ll get a 2x multiplier on your wins from the 5 steps.

The maximum possible win from a round of Paddy’s Mansion Heist is 4000x stake, to a player who collects all 5 keys in a round when the Vault is triggered with a 10x mulitplier from the golden safe in the base game. The game has a Return to Player of 95.15% – 95.84%.
It’s worth knowing that you will get a slightly different looking version of the game depending on which part of the Paddy Power site you launch it from. Play from the Live Casino tab for the best experience with the game occupying the full play area; if you play from the Games tab the dealer and the wheel appear in a smaller window which can make it hard to see what’s going on with the wheel segments and bonus rounds.
Currently, Paddy’s Mansion Heist has an autoplay facility that allows you to repeat your bet for 10, 20, 30, 50, 70 or 99 rounds, cancellable any time with one click or tap. As there’s a ban on autoplay for all casino games to come into force in 2025 in the UK, the game has been configured so that there’s a generous 20 seconds to place your bets between the end of one round and the start of the next.
Where To Play
Paddy’s Mansion Heist is exclusive to Paddy Power. In the unlikely event that you haven’t already got an account there, these are the currently available welcome offers. Whichever you choose, be aware that as a live casino game it can’t be played with slot bonus and won’t count for any playthrough requirements.
