Remember the two new products that were mentioned in our recent Q&A session with Mecca Bingo? One of them was launched earlier this week, and very exciting it is too!
Mecca Raffles appear in their own tab on the Mecca Bingo website. If you normally play via the Mecca mobile app, you’ll need to log into the website instead to see them. When you go to the Raffles area, you’ll see two highlighted raffles, with the rest in a carousel beneath.
“All Raffles” shows all the raffles you can buy tickets for, with details of how many tickets are left in each case, and “Raffle History” shows you which raffles you’ve already bought tickets for and how many tickets remain unsold for those raffles.
Buying tickets could not be easier – all you do is bring up the page for the raffle you want by selecting “Find Out More”, choose the number of tickets you want or enter a different amount in the box, then hit the Buy Tickets Now button. After the draw takes place (always at 8pm) winners will be notified by email within 72 hours.
These are the raffles that are currently live and as you can see, there’s some very nice prizes up for grabs! There’s clearly some experimentation going on with ticket price, minimum and maximum purchases, number of prizes and total number of tickets available; so far, the most popular raffle seems to be “Free Bingo For A Year”.

- Bonus prizes have a 1x wagering requirement and a 7 day expiry but note that they are all games bonus so the play order is cash first rather than bonus first as it would be with a bingo bonus.
- Free spins have a 7 day expiry and winnings are paid in cash.
It’s possible to get one entry to any or all of these raffles free of charge by posting Mecca a separate postcard first class for each raffle containing details of your name, phone number, email address and the raffle you want to enter, but since a first class stamp now costs 85p this isn’t much of a saving.

It’s great to see Mecca come up with a promotion that is genuinely a bit different and adds a whole extra dimension to the Mecca Bingo web site. We can’t wait to see what the other new product is, but Raffles could be a bit of a hard act to follow!
