What is the Big Getaway?

At this time of year everyone’s thoughts start to turn towards the summer holidays and Buzz Bingo have come up with The Big Getaway, a huge promotion on that very theme.  It’s running at Buzz Bingo online and in Buzz clubs from Saturday 18th March until Sunday 16th April 2023.

The Big Getaway: how to take part in club

If you’re a Buzz club member you’ll have received a free Big Getaway Bingo ticket in the post (if you haven’t, don’t worry – you can ask a member of staff in club for one from 19th March).  All you need to do is to go into your club to play the four sets of numbers, which will be revealed on 19th March, 27th March, 3rd April and 10th April. Complete a full house (which can happen at any of the four stages) and you’ll win one of the four prizes detailed above; at each Buzz club, there’s guaranteed to be at least one £500 winner. Claim your prize in club before the end of April (one prize per player).

The Big Getaway: how to take part online

Most of the action takes place during the live bingo sessions on Saturday evenings in the Buzz Club Room.

The Big Getaway Live Bingo show runs from 7pm – 10pm every Saturday evening starting on 18th March. During the show, every player who gets a line or full house win or finishes on 1TG will collect a Big Getaway Live prize draw entry as well as the regular prizes.  And speaking of regular prizes, there will be 24 full house prizes of £100 in each show plus the Pick A Beach Ball bonus game which offers the opportunity to win up to £100 cash.

The Big Getaway Live Bingo Finale runs from 7pm – 10pm on 15th April (the final Saturday of the promotion).  The Big Getaway Live prize draw will be drawn live on the show at 10pm, revealing who’s won the £3000 holiday, but there’s also plenty of action earlier in the evening in the form of three prize escalator jackpots. There’s a £500 holiday to be won between 7pm and 8pm, another £500 holiday to be won between 8pm and 9pm, and a £1000 holiday between 9pm and 10pm.

The way these escalator jackpots work is that in the games at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm you need to win full house in 43 or fewer calls to win the holiday vouchers as well as the normal full house prize.  If 44 or more calls are needed to finish the game, the prize doesn’t drop and the ball count is incremented by one, so in the next game (at 5 past the hour) you need to win full house in 44 or fewer calls to win the vouchers.  This continues until someone wins the vouchers. If they haven’t been won at the end of the game at 50 minutes past the hour (by which time the ball count has risen to 53) the ball count rises to 90 meaning that the vouchers go to the full house winner of the game at 55 minutes past the hour.

There’s also the Big Getaway Spinner which is free to play every day from 20th March till 16th April.  The prizes are bingo bonus or spins on the Pyramid Linx slot game, but what’s important for the Big Getaway promotion is that you also collect a Big Getaway Spinner prize draw entry each time you play.  This prize draw takes place on Monday 17th April and there’s yet another £3000 holiday to be won.
