Woman’s Own Magazine is one of the oldest and most famous titles in the Future plc stable – it celebrated its 90th birthday in 2022.  The bingo site has been around since 2007 and for mnay years it was a re-skinned version of Jackpotjoy.  It made the move to the Dragonfish platform a few years ago and the player base didn’t go with it, so if you’ve played there prior to that there’s good news and bad news; the bad news is that you’ll have to go through the sign-up procedure all over again and the good news is that you’ll be able to claim the new welcome bonus.

Getting Started at Woman’s Own Bingo

The sign-up procedure at Woman’s Own Bingo is similar to that at other Dragonfish sites but unlike some, it does not require players to opt into SMS for account verification.  There’s a couple of points to bear in mind:

• The welcome offer comes with a bonus code which you need to enter when you make your first deposit. You’ll be credited with the bonus immediately, but only start to play with it when your account is empty of cash.

Woman’s Own Bingo is the type of Dragonfish bingo site where you can’t see which bingo rooms they have until after you’ve registered.  Historically it was on what used to be called the “United Bingo” network as opposed to the main “Globalcom” Dragonfish network meaning that some of the binge rooms are different to what you might expect. As of March 2026 they include:

• Linked & Loaded 75 and Linked & Loaded 90 – these are the 75 and 90 ball rooms that are common to all Dragonfish bingo sites (on the main Dragonfish network they are called Easy Peasy and Top of the Shop respectively)
• Penny Express (90 ball), Moonalicious (75-24) and Gimme More (75-25) – these rooms are shared with a smaller number of other Dragonfish sites, including Woman’s Own Bingo’s sister sites Woman Bingo, Chat Mag Bingo and Pick Me Up! Bingo.
• Suit Up (52-5) and Mystery Jackpot (75-24) – again, these rooms are common to all Dragonfish bingo sites. Mystery Jackpot seems particularly popular with players due to its special gimmick where the prize is not revealed until ticket sales have closed and the game is about to start.
• Exclusive – this tab contains the £777 room which runs daily sliding jackpot games.  The maximum prize pool is £777 but that depends on completing lines and full house in a small number of calls (e.g. to win £500 for full house you need to win in 28 calls which is extremely unlikely, much less likely than winning the lottery).
• Finally, there are 3 free bingo rooms.  One of them is only open to players who have made a recent deposit and the other two are sliding jackpot games with very small baseline prizes.

Not the biggest range of bingo rooms, then, but still plenty to choose from. Prebuy is available for most bingo games up to a week in advance.

Slot Games at Woman’s Own Bingo

Many more slot games are available inside the Woman’s Own Bingo lobby (and it is the newest version of the Dragonfish lobby) than is evident from the home page.  Some game tiles are marked “Real Money Only” but there’s still a very large selection that you can play with your welcome bonus.

The lobby is split into sections to make it easier to find the games you want to play but to be honest some of them don’t make a great deal of sense. For example, there are two sections for new releases (New Games and Top New Games) with only a dozen or so games in each, whereas the Jackpot & Megaways section mashes together progressive jackpot games (which are mostly by Eyecon) with a load of non progressive Megaways games.

There are also some exclusive (Dragonfish and Broadway Gaming only) slot games but as the games provider is not shown in the lobby and they are not grouped together, you will have to guess which they are!

If you want to dig a bit deeper there’s the All Games sections which has all of the game tiles (but not in any particular order and with no way to filter or sort them) and there’s also a search box. Don’t bother using it to search for roulette or any other casino and table games, though, as you won’t find any.  Apart from some Slingo and LuckyTap games in their own lobby area, Woman’s Own Bingo only has slot games (and bingo, of course).

Other Things To Consider

The player rewards system at Woman’s Own Bingo is based on trophy collection.  Each trophy fills part of a meter and when the meter is full, you can collect a prize wheel spin.  The trophies are given for depositing, playing slots and winning and most of them can be collected daily or weekly.  It’s fun, fair and you can play as much or as little as you like without losing the progress you’ve already made.

Other promotions (mostly deposit bonus codes) will show up in the My Offers part of the lobby from time to time.

Payments are a bit of a weak area – it’s basically debit card or Paypal and if you use Paypal, you’ll still need a debit card to fund it with as that’s all that is allowed for gambling transactions.

All in all Woman’s Own Bingo is a well appointed Dragonfish bingo site run by a highly reputable organisation, with an attractive slot bonus welcome offer.  Now that the Dragonfish software has been enhanced with prebuy, it could be just the thing for those who want to play bingo and slots in an easy to use lobby that works well on all devices.
