Star Wins is associated with a household name in the shape of the Daily Star newspaper and is so different to, and so much of an improvement on, the Daily Star’s previous iGaming operation Daily Star Games that it should be considered as a completely new site, especially as it was launched more than 4 years after the original site went on hiatus. All that endures from the clunky old Gtech powered site is the emphasis on slots with a bit of bingo. Before its latest – and arguably best – incarnation on the Jumpman platform, Star Wins also made a brief appearance as a Bear Group casino before that platform ceased operations at the end of 2019.

The Jumpman registration process is extremely quick and easy and the only thing you need to bear in mind is that the welcome offer may appear in a pop up and need to be accepted on the spot. You’re unlikely to be asked to provide proof of ID at this stage but will probably need to do so later on.

Bingo At Star Wins

Star Wins has a decent selection of Pragmatic Play network bingo rooms including 90, 75, 80 and 30 ball rooms, daily and weekly jackpots and the Pragmatic Play specials Bingo Blast, Diamond Dazzle and Animingo. The Reels Room and Drop Pots Room that you may have come across at other Pragmatic Play bingo sites are not present.

Slots At Star Wins

Like all Jumpman sites, Star Wins has a great selection of slots encompassing everything from evergreen favourites like Immortal Romance to hot new releases, with progressive jackpots courtesy of Eyecon. Jumpman actively seek out new game providers to work with so you may well find some games here you haven’t come across before.

The latest version of the Jumpman lobby groups slot games by theme and/or popularity. For example, Gone Fishing showcases various Fishin’ Frenzy and Big Bass slot games and Tales of Egypt has Book of Dead, Eye of Horus, Temple of Iris and other titles in that vein, while UK Classics contains the likes of Rainboe Riches, Gold Cash Freespins, Book of Dead and 9 Pots of Gold . There’s also a grouping for Slingo with more than 60 different games to choose from.

What you can’t do is browse through all of the thousands of slot games – there’s no lobby area for that and no filtering.  To find games that aren’t showcased in the lobby groupings, you’ll need to use the search box.  Unfortunately you can only search on game name, not game provider, and the providers aren’t shown on the game tiles, so if you like a game and want to find more by the same studio you can’t do that here.  Searching on game name works well enough and shows results after you’ve entered just two characters.  The results show partial matches underneath the exact matches, which is useful if you aren’t quite sure what you are looking for or spell it wrong. For example, if you search on Big Bass you’ll see a load of Big Bass games at the top; scroll further down the list to see Bigger Bass games, Big Bad Wolf games, Reel Big Fish and Bass Blitz.

Once you’ve found a game you like the look of, you will need to load it up to find out more as there’s no information about game features, return to player or even the current jackpot size in the lobby.  You can’t save game tiles to your favourites, but any game you play for real money will show up at the top of the lobby under Recently Played (visible when logged in).

Star Wins also has an number of table and card games plus some live casino. Other Things To Consider

Star Wins has a good range of deposit methods but be aware that one of them (mobile phone billing) is extremely expensive to use. Withdrawals are now fee free.

Promotions at Star Wins are run by the Jumpman network.  There’s slot leaderboards in partnership with game providers and prize draws.  You may also be sent time limited deposit offers from time to time via the communications channels you opted into when you registered, or as special missions to complete in the Club part of the Star Wins site (which houses the loyalty scheme).

Customer service at Jumpman sites isn’t great. There is live chat, but only during office hours Monday to Friday.  The rest of the time, you could be waiting up to 48 hours for them to contact you via email.  To access support, you have to click through a few pages to get to a web form, and it’s only available if you are logged in (which could be a problem if your issue is not being able to log in).
