Spin Rider

About Spin Rider

Launched in 2018, Spin Rider is one of White Hat Gaming’s cooler-looking casinos with a backdrop of neon skyscrapers, fancy sports cars and very moody-looking couple. It’s a vibe that makes me think the design team spec was “James Bond, but make it online slots.” It’s got that high-energy, late-night cityscape theme that sets it apart from the much more minimalistic looks of other White Hat casinos like Spinyoo.

I know that the industry seems to be going more towards scaled-back online casino design but I personally enjoyed the futuristic city vibe that sets the stage for the gameplay experience at Spin Rider.

Beneath all of this, though, is a pretty standard White Hat Gaming Casino. Like the other sites on the platform, it’s got well over a thousand games, a very sleek and user-friendly interface along with a Promotions page that’s incredibly well-stocked.

Being part of the White Hat Casino group also means that it’s a brand you can trust. It’s not just some site that popped up overnight; it’s part of a well-established online gaming group that’s been around since 2012. Not to mention – Spin Rider is licensed by the UKGC and MGA, two very well-respected gaming authorities that ensure the operator is all above board.

Slots At Spin Rider

The big draw of playing at Spin Rider, I would say, is its slots portfolio. With over 1,500 games it’s not the astronomically large collection you’ll get at Jumpman Casinos, but it’s very well-curated. They really do have all of the best slots games out there and you can tell by looking at the Game Providers page (which lists the number of games they stock from each studio) that the operator knows what players like.

There’s a definite emphasis on classic-style games from larger, more established brands like Blueprint, Games Global and Pragmatic Play. But, you’ll also see that they dedicate a fair portion of lobby space to smaller brands who tend to go a bit more experimental with their designs and features.

While I appreciate being so spoiled for choice, I was hoping for more filtering options, like searching for specific features or being able to sort the game in a different order – but, the way it’s organised is still quite useful. You can tell a lot of thought goes into which games get the best positions in the slots lobby, and it seems like the operator is pretty tuned in to what’s trending.

I also really like how easy it is to mark games as your favourites. You just click on the little heart icon below a game thumbnail and it’s added into a handy little section at the top of the screen.

At first glance, it might not look like Spin Rider has progressive jackpot games – but that’s only because there isn’t a dedicated tab for them in the main game lobby. There are dozens to choose from with progressives from Blueprint, IGT and Red Tiger Gaming but you have to search for the term “jackpot” to get to them. So progressive jackpots that don’t have “jackpot” in the title – including a number of Mega Moolah and Dream Drop games – are likely just going to end up being undiscovered on this site.  Also – keep in mind, you won’t see a live ticker for progressive pots, which is a bit of a shame if you like comparing current jackpot sizes.

Aside from slots, you’ll find the usual table suspects like roulette, blackjack, and baccarat – and there are loads of variants of each one. You’ve got lots of options here from Who Wants to Be A Milllionaire Roulette to ReDeal Blackjack to 3D Baccarat – with a few niche titles like Casino Solitaire thrown into the mix.

If you fancy live dealers, Spin Rider has a solid live casino powered by Pragmatic Play and Evolution Gaming. These are the two power houses of the live dealer world, so you get all of the best titles at Spin Rider, including Monopoly Live, Crazy Time and Lightning Storm. Of course, there’s also the classics like blackjack and roulette, too.

Other Things to Consider

Beyond the welcome offer, Spin Rider runs a variety of promos. Most of these are prize draws, where you earn entries based on how much you wager. As a result, they’re not very newbie-friendly, and tend to be geared more towards high rollers who can afford to play thousands on casino games to earn a ticket.

Something I do really like about the bonus selection, though, is the Bonus Wheel. It’s a Daily Wheel that all players who have deposited at least once can access. Free spins and bonus money are available, which is a nice reason to head over every day and see what’s happening at Spin Rider.

When it comes to paying in or out, Spin Rider uses all of the main methods like PayPal, debit cards, Skrill, Neteller and Paysafecard. There are also quite a few methods that are less common like Apple Pay, Trustly and MuchBetter.

One area Spin Rider stands out is with its 24/7 live chat. It’s something I’m noticing that’s disappearing in the online casino world, with more brands opting instead to put their energy into developing a very comprehensive FAQ while limiting chat support hours. So, it’s nice to see there’s still a brand that provides customer support at all hours of the day.

Speaking of which, the FAQ at Spin Rider is not very helpful. It’s only got the most basic of questions answered and, even then, the answers are along the lines of “it depends on your location, deposit method, etc”.

Final Thoughts

Spin Rider definitely makes a memorable first impression with its flashy and futuristic fast car, neon skyline vibe. Then, when you dig below the surface, there are plenty of things that make it worth recommending – mainly the top-notch selection of slots and the lobby that they are featured in. It’s incredibly well-curated, actually pointing you in the direction of slots that are worth playing. I also like how easy it is to mark and access favourites.

I wish the filtering for slots was more robust (especially with that many games on offer), and a more direct approach to daily/progressive jackpots would be nice. But for the average slot fan, Spin Rider is going to tick most of your boxes.
