The Rollbit brand is well known internationally for crypto and NFT gambling but these are currently not allowed under the UK Gambling Commission licensing regime.  As the principal partner of Southhampton Football Club, it’s important for them to have a regulated presence in the UK as it means there’s a site that’s legal for UK players to sign up and play at.  They have therefore followed the lead of many other international casino brands and established their presence in the UK by opening a white label casino site on a UK licence, in this case Grace Media.

What this means is that you won’t find any “bit” at the UK version of Rollbit (or at any other UK regulated casino).  Don’t expect to find much “roll” either; the UK Rollbit is largely a slots site with only a small range of table games.

IMPORTANT: All Grace Media brands are currently in the process of a platform upgrade which is not yet complete.  Once it is, this review will be updated to reflect the new lobby, games and promotions.

Getting Started At Rollbit

Registration at Rollbit is a quick and easy process, just as it is at all Grace Media casinos.

Games At Rollbit

Rollbit does not have much in the way of game categorisation in the lobby.  You can view all of the games in alphabetical order, or check out “Hot Slots”, “Megaways”, “New”, “Featured” or “Live Casino”.  There’s no area for progressive jackpots and that is because Rollbit does not have any progressive jackpots (no Grace Media casinos have them).

It seems that there is more work to be done on the platform upgrade as there are still some glaring omissions compared to the earlier version of the site, but the worst omissions have now been corrected:

• After the migration, there was no search box so the only way to find games was to scroll through them all.  Thankfully, it’s now been added back in.
• The Live Casino area only had blackjack tables and nothing else, but now there’s also roulette, baccarat, Sic Bo and one game show, Mega Wheel.
• The only game provider after the migration was Pragmatic Play, but other providers are now being reinstated bringing games like Bonanza (Big Time Gaming), Centurion Big Money (Inspired) and Temple Tumble Megaways (Relax Gaming) back to the site.

Other Things To Consider

Grace Media (now and in their earlier incarnation as Nektan) have always taken a mobile first approach and this means that the lobby is free of clutter and easy to use on a mobile phone.  However, it also means that there is no information in the lobby about the games apart from what’s on the game tile so if you want to know provider, volatility, Return To Player or anything about how the game plays, you’ll need to launch the game and look in the help files.

As well as giving more prominence to the safer gambling content, the new lobby makes it easier to find the promotions page.  As well as the welcome offer, when I visited there was a cash prize draw and a weekly free spins offer.

Grace Media have recently added a couple of new payment methods which means that Rollbit has a decent choice and only one of them – pay by phone – carries any extra charges.  There is a fee for withdrawals but you can easily avoid it as it only applies to withdrawals of less than £30.

Final Thoughts

The Grace Media platform has its limitations, but if you are looking for a fuss free way to play slots on your mobile phone it could be just the thing.  Rollbit, with its very attractive welcome offer, is definitely worth a visit.
