About Rialto Casino

The Rialto Casino is a rebrand rather than an entirely new site.  It was originally launched as Aspers Casino in 2017 and the rebrand came 5 years later.

With the relaunch comes a new design which is still very sleek and classy, featuring a black and gold colour scheme. It’s not too dissimilar from the original look, but there are some marked differences in how the overall site is organised that will make the gaming experience a lot more intuitive and user-friendly.

Something that really stands out about this site is that it’s directly associated with the Rialto Casino in London. This isn’t exactly a unique thing in the UK’s gambling market, seeing that there’s a Hippodrome online casino and the Genting brand also lends its name to an online gaming site – but in a market where there are hundreds upon hundreds of sites to choose from, seeing the odd site being run by a trusted brick-and-mortar brand is definitely an interesting USP.

Getting Started At Rialto

When you register at Rialto Casino, the process is quick with just two pages of short forms to fill out. The welcome offer is automatically applied to your account as soon as registration is complete and you can either click the Deposit from there to claim it right away or visit the Active Bonuses section of My Account if you’d rather deposit later. Do make sure you read the instructions as to claim the spins, you need to play through your deposit on that game.

Something important to note is that Paysafe deposits do not qualify for the welcome offer at Rialto Casino. It’s actually a pretty big drawback, seeing as this is one of the more popular banking options among casino players so if this is your payment method of choice, these restrictions might have you rethinking whether or not to sign up here.

Also be aware that if you played at the site years ago while it was called Aspers Casino, you won’t be able to claim the welcome offer.

Slot Games At Rialto Casino

The Slots lobby at Rialto Casino is well-stocked with lots of different games from a wide range of providers – so you do get a good mix of more classic-style slots balanced with more unique and innovative games from smaller studios. I really like to see this balance, since it means that the selection is well curated and the team behind Rialto has put a lot of work into picking which games to highlight.

My main issue with Rialto Casino slots is that they aren’t very easy to browse. When you click on All Games, you’re presented with what seems like an endlessly scrollable list in alphabetical order. It’s nice to see how many games are on offer but it’s not very helpful if you want to narrow down the selection by features, themes or even makers. The only filtering options are Sort By A – Z or Z – A.

Fortunately Rialto saves itself by having several categories that are worth browsing. The Top Slots category has been loaded up with games that I would actually identify as ‘top slots’; they’re the creme-de-la-creme and make for a great place to start if you’re new to the online casino world.

Another useful function is the i button that’s located in the corner of every game tile. When you click on it, you get taken to a handy summary page which lets you know the betting range, top win and number paylines. There’s even a description of the bonus features. It’s really helpful to be able to have a look at this page first rather than having to wait until the game loads and then looking through the paytable like you have to do on many other sites.

You can also take a look at the newest games if you’re looking for fresh content. This section is updated daily, so I’d recommend coming to Rialto Casino first on a day when you know certain games are going to be launched, because you can expect to see them go live first thing here.

The categories also save the lack of filtering. There’s a Classics section where you have your more standard, old-school games alongside a Megaways category where you can have a look at some more modern titles.

The selection of progressive jackpot slots at the Rialto Casino is really impressive.  There’s Jackpot King, Mega Fortune, Mega Moolah, WOWPot, IGT Megajackpots, Fluffy Mega Jackpot and several Novomatic jackpots plus Red Tiger dailies (although the Red Tiger pots are not as big as at some other sites).

Other Things To Consider

In terms of non-slots, there’s sections for roulette, table & card, scratch and arcade and Live Casino games.  The live casino has games by Evolution and Pragmatic Playand includes game shows such as Crazy Time and Color Game Bonanza; first person versions of some of these games appear in the Scratch and Arcade area.  Also included in the live games is roulette live from London, although it should be noted that it’s from The Vic rather than the actual Rialto.

For players who like to take advantage of promotions, Rialto is a good place to be registered. There are lots of different offers available at any given time, ranging from daily free spins to seasonal offers.

Rialto Coins are the bonus currency of the site, which you can earn by playing different casino games. Every £1 you bet earns you coins, and you can cash them in for bonuses when you’ve accumulated enough of them.

Final Thoughts

Rialto Casino brings a mix of classic and modern casino gaming to slot fans, and it helps that it’s backed by the credibility of its well-known land-based counterpart. I’m a big fan of the site’s refreshed design, and while the game lobby could benefit from better filtering options, the curated categories help make navigation easier.

I found that the selection of slot games is particularly strong, featuring a mix of popular titles, hard-to-find Novomatic games and one of the biggest collections of progressive jackpots I believe I’ve ever seen at an online casino before. The inclusion of live dealer games also kicks things up a notch; and I’d recommend checking out some of the live casino game shows Rialto has to offer.

One of the features that really stands out to me is the consistent stream of promotions. Nowadays, you don’t see many casinos offering their own promotions, instead opting to include software-based promotions like Pragmatic Play’s Drops & Wins instead; so it’s refreshing to see more bespoke, exclusive offerings.

Plus – Rialto Coins system is a nice touch, giving players extra incentives beyond the usual bonuses. However, the inability to claim the welcome offer with Paysafe deposits is a bit of a drawback for those who prefer that payment method.

Overall, Rialto Casino is a well-rounded site with an impressive game selection, rewarding promotions and a trusted brand behind it. If you don’t mind the limited search options in the game lobby, it’s a solid choice that I would recommend checking out.
