Planet Sport Bet was originally conceived as a sportsbook – and a very good sportsbook it is too, with a comprehensive range of sports and separate lobby areas for football, horse racing, in play and virtuals – but the slots and casino part of the site is certainly good enough to stand alone. They did also have some Pragmatic Play bingo rooms but these have now been removed, probably because that particular bingo product is being retired soon.

Planet Sport Bet now has its own UKGC licence which means that despite using the Playbook platform it is a true independent.

Sports Betting at Planet Sport Bet

No fewer than four of the main lobby areas at Planet Sport Bet are devoted to sports betting – Sports, In Play, Football and Horses, and if you check those last two out you’ll see why they need lobby areas of their own, with a huge array of UK and international events to bet on.  There’s also a comprehensive greyhound racing section which can be accessed from the top of the menu in the sports section.  Under A-Z Betting you’ll find a host of other sports (no esports though) plus Rocket Boosts which highlights the day’s boosts and specials.

There’s also a Virtuals lobby area with virtual horse, greyhound and motor racing plus several different football simulator games, for those times when there’s no live events on.

Games at Planet Sport Bet

If you are looking for a change from the usual skin sites (Progress Play, Skill On Net etc) that appear in the UK space, you will probably want to check the casino at Planet Sport Bet out.

In both the Casino area and the Live Casino area there’s a mixture of the familiar and the not so familiar:

• In the Casino area Net Ent, Pragmatic Play, Slingo and Big Time Gaming classics rub shoulders with slot games by less common providers including Elk, Thunderkick, Hacksaw, Peter and Sons and others.  There’s an area for Slingo with around 40 games and another just for Lucky Tap games.
• Over in the Live Casino area the Ezugi tables have their own tab and there’s also a tab for gameshows by Evolution and Pragmatic, plus a tab just for speed games.  They also have a few crash games in their own dedicated area.

Return To Player is not shown in the lobby so if you want to find out what it is, you’ll need to check in the game help files before starting to play.

In both Casino and Live Casino you can filter games by provider (select the studio from a drop down list) or search by name.  The search is area specific, i.e. if you look for slot games while you are in the Live Casino part of the lobby you won’t see any results.

What Planet Sport Bet doesn’t have is any progressive jackpot slots; there’s no lobby area for them and a search didn’t turn up any of the usual suspects. As no casinos on the Playbook platform currently have any progressive jackpots, this is likely a limitation of the platform.

Other Things To Consider

Planet Sport Bet also doesn’t have a promotions page as such.  Instead, the promotions appear at the top of the screen regardless of screen size – on a phone, you swipe to see the ones that are offscreen.  (On a large screen, there are also some promotions in a sidebar but they are all for sports). The casino promotions include Pragmatic Play Drops & Wins, the live casino version of it as well as the slots version, and there’s also a weekly spins promotion.

If you were hoping to use a deposit method other than debit card, you’ll be disappointed at Planet Sport Bet – it’s the only payment method they accept.

Final Thoughts
