Pink Ribbon Bingo was founded years and years ago and was originally associated with the Daily Mail. The brand was launched as an official partner of the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity with 15% of their gross revenue going to the charity. After changing ownership in the mid 2010s, they switched to sponsoring a different breast cancer charity Against Breast Cancer and pivoted away from donating a percentage of revenue and towards running occasional fundraiser promotions (you can read about some of these on the site’s news page). Now that the brand has changed ownership again, it’s unclear what will happen to the charity connection.

Another effect of the change in ownership has been the removal of the exclusive bingo room and associated promotions Pink Ribbon Bingo shared with its sister sites.

In Autumn 2022, Pink Ribbon Bingo changed its welcome offer to move away from bingo bonus (although there’s still a chance that you might end up with some bingo bonus if you win free bingo tickets on the Wheel of Fortune and win the game of bingo you use them in). The new offer is slots focused and combines a games bonus with a spin the wheel bonus game.

However, a couple of changes have been made to the platform in the last few months.

At the end of 2021 the Dragonfish software (and the rest of 888’s bingo business) was sold to Broadway Gaming and one effect of this has been that the range of slot games on offer has changed. Cleopatra and other IGT titles are gone as are Millionaire Genie and other 888 proprietary slots and several other providers, while in come lots of Microgaming games (sadly not Mega Moolah).

The latest version of the slots lobby is very pared down which is great for mobile usability but at many Dragonfish sites the only ways to find games are to scroll through all of them or search by name. Pink Ribbon Bingo and sister sites have some extra lobby tabs which makes it a bit easier to locate games you may like.

One thing that hasn’t changed is that with the exception of Eyecon games, Dragonfish can be quite slow to add new releases so if you like to play the hottest titles right after they come out, this may not be the site for you.

On the plus side, Dragonfish slot bonuses are valid indefinitely as long as you continue to log in and play regularly and any game that can be played with bonus counts towards wagering requirements. The ones that can’t be played with bonus are clearly marked “real money” in the lobby – it couldn’t be simpler.
