Midnite is a relative newcomer to the iGaming scene; it’s a rather wonderful independent UK sportsbook and casino with a great No Wagering welcome offer.

About Midnite

Midnite, which is on a standalone platform, aims to be a truly 21st century brand; it’s built around the concept of “next generation entertainment” and “building a new era of wagering”. The Midnite team share a passion for esports, sports and gaming and indeed, Midnite has one of the best esports betting offerings we’ve ever seen, with a wide range of events to bet on and a lobby area of its own.

Midnite is operated by Dribble Media Ltd whose background is in fantasy football. Midnite itself opened in 2019 for sports and esports; the casino part of the site opened in September 2023 and live casino was added still more recently.

Getting Started At Midnite

The registration process at Midnite is one of the simplest and most user friendly we’ve yet seen.

First, you’ll see a reminder of the casino welcome offer with the promo code pre-filled for you. On this screen, you fill in your name, address and date of birth – and they’ve thoughtfully included a reminder that you should use your name as it appears on your official ID (e.g. if your name as per your passport is Christopher but you normally shorten it to Chris, you need to put Christopher in).
On the next screen you enter your mobile phone number (the UK country code is pre-filled for you). Press the Send Code button to receive an authorisation code by text and enter the code to progress.
On the third screen you enter your address (and again, they remind you that this needs to be the address registered to your bank). Just start typing it and you’ll soon be able to select it from a drop down list.
On the fourth screen you choose a username and password, agree to the terms and conditions and opt into marketing communications (which are sent via email).

That’s it. You can now make your first deposit and start playing.

Games at Midnite

Independent casinos often suffer from a restricted range of games. Not so Midnite! There are nearly 1500 games to choose from in all, from a very respectable 30 different providers, ranging from Pragmatic Play with nearly 300 games to Spribe with just one (the very popular crash game Aviator). There’s nothing by Playtech or subsidiaries but apart from that the selection of slot games is excellent; some of the popular games and games series you’ll find here are Rainbow Riches, Wolf Gold, Big Bass Bonanza, Fishin’ Frenzy, Eye of Horus, Action Bank, 88 Fortunes, Dead or Alive, Reel King Megaways, Nitropolis, Bonanza, Book of Dead and Reactoonz.

Most of the games have a Free Play option for logged in players, so you can try them out before playing for real.

Midnite are also quick to add new slot games. For example, Squid Game One Lucky Day was added on the day of release.

As for slot game return to player, at the time of writing (March 2024) Midnite had Book of Dead set at 96.21% which is the highest RTP available on that game and considerably higher than at most other online casinos.

The Return To Player of slot games can change and may not be the same at all casinos. Please check the in-game documentation before playing for the correct RTP figure.

What Midnite doesn’t have is any progressive jackpots. You’ll see a number of games by Red Tiger and Blueprint that you might expect to be jackpot slots, but they are in non jackpot versions.

Going beyond the slot games, Midnite has a number of lobby areas that make it easy to find other types of game. Some of them are:

The live casino at Midnite is provided by Evolution, Authentic Gaming and Stakelogic and again, there are separate areas for blackjack, roulette and game shows.

Other Things To Consider

If you enjoy betting on sports or esports as well as playing casino games, you’ll love Midnite. The sportsbook has in-play betting and acca assist and is super easy to use, and there’s a Virtuals area if there’s no live sports you fancy betting on. As previously mentioned, the esports offering is outstanding.

There’s a Midnite app for Android and Apple devices and they also have a fairly active Twitter account where they post messages about what’s new on site and which sporting events are coming up soon.

Midnite does not offer a huge choice of payment methods, but with Trustly and PayPal available as well as debit card, most players will be satisfied with what there is.

Final Thoughts

Midnite is like a breath of fresh air. There’s a great selection of games, an easy to understand welcome offer, the site is extremely well laid out and easy to navigate and we were impressed by just how clear all of the help documentation is. We really like this site and we think you will too.
