Mecca Games is a slot and casino site that takes its branding from one of the UK’s best known and most loved bingo brands. Usability and customer service are paramount.
Mecca Games landed in 2021 as Rank Interactive’s dedicated “slots & instant wins” off-shoot of Mecca Bingo. Licensing comes double-barrelled (UKGC + Gibraltar), and the brand even bagged WhichBingo’s “Best Slots Site” award in 2022 – very impressive for a site in its rookie year.
Stylistically, I’ve noticed that it leans on the parent company’s pink-and-purple palette but reins it in when it comes to the bingo-themed touches. The homepage is white, clean and mobile-first: big game tiles, chunky fonts and no scrolling marquees. If you’re familiar with the Mecca Bingo brand, Mecca Games’ design will be immediately recognisable – “Mecca, but make it slots”.
Registration at Mecca Games basically mirrors every other Rank site:
The welcome bundle auto-triggers at the cashier – there’s no code and no hidden opt-in box. The full KYC check doesn’t pop up until your first withdrawal, but I’d recommend you upload ID docs early (you can do this in My Account) if you like to get admin out of the way.
Something worth noting: PayPal isn’t eligible on your very first deposit (it kicks in from deposit #2), and Paysafecard deposits can’t claim the bonus at all.
I opened the casino lobby and the first thing that jumped at me was the number of games available – just 200 slots can be readily found here. When you’re looking at an online casino market where most sites have at least 1000 games, this definitely pales in comparison – but the catalogue is curated in such a way that you’re not missing the quantity and are pushed more towards appreciating the quality.
It’s a lobby that’s more focused on the evergreen giants – for example, NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, IGT, Blueprint and Microgaming. . .
Mecca also does a great of pointing you in the right direction by featuring different hubs:
All of these categories sit on a single navigation bar, so nothing is more than two taps away on mobile. Unfortunately, there’s no full provider filter but I do like the Crowd Favourites section, as it actually makes some great recommendations.
Another thing I really appreciate about Mecca Games is that its New section is different almost every day. As soon as a new game launches, you’ll find it here. Plus -there’s a headline Hot New Releases section, where the operator picks a select few fresh games for players to focus on.
If you’re looking for table games, this isn’t the place for it. There are no RNG games and the live casino has been stripped back to just a few games like Crazy Time and Live Lightning Sic Bo. I couldn’t find them under the main game headings and head to search, so it’s not like Mecca is pushing players towards these titles.
Other Things to Consider
Mecca Games features a handful of recurring offers that keep things interesting, like the Weekly Mecca Wheel which can be unlocked by anyone who stakes £25 or more from Monday to Sunday and pays out either bonus credit or a bundle of free spins.
On top of that, Mecca Games runs a Daily Free Spins booster; if you wager £10 on the day’s featured titles, ten bonus spins land in your balance the following morning. I like that the qualifying slots rotate so you get a lot of variety and can try out new games.
There’s no formal, multi-tier VIP ladder any more; Rank has recently retired the old scheme in favour of “priority” treatment. This is a software driven approach where players who deposit and play regularly tend to receive ad-hoc offers like enhanced Mecca Wheels and cashback. These aren’t advertised on the site, though, and you have to sign up to marketing emails to be able to get your hands on them.
In terms of banking, the selection of options is pretty small with debit cards, PayPal and Paysafecard – a short list, but it covers the essential bases. I’d say the minimum limits are budget friendly at £10 for both deposits and withdrawals.
Speed is definitely the stand-out perk. Once the routine fraud check clears (usually under an hour), withdrawals can land in as little as 15 minutes; the site says that standard card payouts can take up to three working days but I received mine within 24 hours.
When it comes to customer support, it’s a little bit disappointing that live chat is only available from 7 am to 10:30 pm daily but I found that you get email responses around the clock.
Rank has taken the elements that made Mecca Bingo a high-street staple and wrapped it around a modern slots-focused online casino. The absence of table games may be a little bit of a bummer for those of you who like to mix it up from time to time but there are plenty of instant wins if you want to take a break from slots.
There are plenty of promotions that I find are certainly worth claiming like the Weekly Mecca Wheel and Daily Free Spins. Even though there isn’t a defined VIP program, the bespoke email offers are nice rewards for regular players.
I believe the site could do better by adding a couple of filters – even if there’s just one for game providers. Plus, adding a handful of blackjack and roulette tables would definitely widen the audience without diluting the slots focus.
Still, taken as a whole, though, Mecca Games delivers what UK slots players are really after: a huge, well-curated game selection, quick withdrawals and promos that offer useful perks.
Bonus is only useable on Premier Collection slots – as of April 2025 these are Cleopatra, Fluffy Favourites Megaways, Fishin’ Frenzy, Rainbow Riches and Wish Upon A Jackpot Megaways. Please check on site for an up to date list.
30 x bonus, 10x spins winnings
Rank’s responsible gaming page is worded clearly and includes a detailed description of their responsible gambling toolkit with instructions on how to use all the tools, including net deposit loss limits applying to all Daub Alderney sites.
This doesn’t match up with our experience at all – we found the terms and conditions on the promotions were available in full on clicking Read More
I’ve just been playing on mecca games (I’m a member and regular player of mecca bingo, grosvenor casino, bella casino and more recently kitty bingo and luckypants) and I don’t understand how you have given mecca games such a good review. The site is very poorly run, eg the promotional conditions are hard to find, I had to open links in a new tab to be able to even read them. And even then I had to be savvy enough to click on links within the text to actually get the T&C’s to be readable; the games are few and the RTP appears to be incredibly low, from my experience there.
