Their raison d’etre is lotteries (and lottery style scratchcards) and unlike almost every other lottery site, the UK version of Jackpot.com offers UK as well as worldwide lotteries. They are able to do this because their lottery operation is a hybrid.

Most other lottery sites are exclusively for lottery betting, where you place a bet on the outcome of a lottery rather than actually buying a ticket. This gives players access to foreign lotteries which they would not normally be able to enter because of not being in the country in question. Betting is not allowed on UK Lotto (if you could bet rather than buying a ticket less money would go to the good causes) so at Jackpot.com they have an arrangement whereby you can join a syndicate to buy tickets for UK Lotto, Thunderball and Euromillions as well as bet on a great choice of other international and custom lotteries.
